Beautiful!
The postman walked up my garden path, I saw an A4 sized box. My face lit up. :DI opened the box and a single tear rolled down my cheek. Beautiful. Beautiful was my first reaction. The cover is glossy and has a lovely feel to it. Then I saw that you can take the cover off to reveal some amazing sketches.Opening the first page, there are some pencil sketches on black paper followed by a fold-out page. The first few pages are like something from a magazine photo shoot. At the side of each illustration is a list of the model (e.g. Allen Walker), design and production (e.g. Science Group) and fun things like that. The art in this book is split up into 2 categories. 2004 to 2006 and 2007 to 2010.There is a page of Hoshino-sensei's collaboration pieces including Naruto, One Piece and Tegami Bachi. After that, the remaining pages are in purple and white, no other colours. They call it the "Monochrome Gallery"At the back of the book are some interviews. First is an interview with Katsura Hoshino and Osamu Akimoto, the author of Kochikame which has been running for over 35 years (full name: Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Koen-mae Hashutsujo).Next is an interview with Hoshino-sensei and Takeshi Obata, artist for Death Note, Bakuman, Hikaru no Go and others. Finally we have Katsura Hoshino's comments. She's a very interesting person!Closing the book with a huge smile on my face. Suddenly, it turned into a frown. The back page. There is a big white box with the barcode in and Viz Media/Shonen Jump logos. It sticks out on the black cover and just ruins it. They could have easily made it smaller.Overall, if you ignore the back cover and the fact that some things haven't been translated, it's an incredible art book. It's A4 in size, reads right to left like all manga and 86 pages out of 102 are full colour. It is very good quality for the price you are paying. A must have for any D.Gray-man fan.

Wonderful Art
I personally believe there is a lot more artwork that Hoshino-san could have added to this little compilation. but it's still a great treat if you like her illustration style or the D.Gray-Man series in general. My copy came a little damaged which I loathe but it's not the end of the world (still salty tho). The books binding style is awkward to open properly and I hope it's never implemented again. That said, it's a great collector's item and not a bad price for the content.

Great book with fascinating art.
This book is great for fans of the D.Gray Man series, the artwork is printed on glossy paper with extra sketches and explanations towards the back as well as some great interviews with Hoshino and other Manga artists on some ordinary paper. My only problem with the book is that the cover (beneath the dust cover) has been made in such a way that it does not quite fit on the binding of the book and this can make it difficult to open the pages without either cover bending, however this is only a small issue and does not make the artwork any less fascinating.
