Didn’t fit right
The part itself is great but it pulls off of our vaccume. You can’t even vaccume because it keeps coming undone. My husband took apart our old one and was able to put a piece of that on this one. It’s the small red part inside the tube. It wasn’t long enough to latch.

Cheap, broke, unusable
This does not work. The red button that is supposed to keep it connected to the vacuum came apart the 2nd time using it. Now it does not stay on the vacuum. This makes the vacuum unusable because every time you try to pull the vacuum toward you while vacuuming, it come apart.Secondly, the tubing stretches out and hangs down. It gets in the way and flops around while you are trying to vacuum and hold the 2 pieces together at the same time.Terrible!

Does not latch tight onto wand.
Nice and new but i had to wiggle the bottom end to lock and the handle would pull off the wand. The catch (red) doesent extend enough.I had to dissasemble the latch and grind a deder relief so catch would go 1/16" deeper.Crucial, this is not the first such complaint.Update.... not working. Also handle has a ground rod in airsream as the oem.However oem handle has a ground strip at handle crucoal dosent.I disasembled bot handles and put hose in old handle and of xourse reatached ground..Buy oem.

The red lock on the handle of this replacement hose came apart before I could even get the new hose attached to my vacuum - which isn't good considering you need a handle to hold onto while vacuuming. After reading other reviews (which I should have done before purchasing) it sounds like this is a common issue. Save your time and money and don't buy this piece of junk.

Doesn't fit right!!! Says it would go with my shark!!!!!
I bought this hose thinking it'd work with my shark since it goes with the model # and so forth. But after attaching the hose, it keeps popping off Everytime I want to vacuum 😡 !!! I'm not too pleased with my order. It doesn't even latch properly. Id love a replacement for one that would actually work and fit. I have a house of animals and family I have to take care of I'd love to actually be able to vacuum without a hose popping off every minute. My vacuum is a shark navigator lift away. This hose is just making cleaning worse to clean than my ripped one.

Duck Tape Needed to make it work
I received this replacement hose/handle & it took about 5 minutes of pressing together to get the hose to stay connected to the body of the vacuum. The handle end would NOT stay connected no matter what I tried. My wife had a party and I was out of time to help her get things ready so I had to literally wrap duck tape around it to get it to stay connected. I compared the new handle to the old handle & discovered the little red tab that connects the handle is smaller on the replacement than the original.

Just as good as authentic shark replacement
When I received my first replacement the handle would not stay in d clip would not stay inserted into the top handle which was the reason I replaced it in the first place the clip had broken I got on requested a replacement received it the next day and am very happy with my replacement also very happy with the speed of my replacement coming

Poor design and improper fit - Pulls off vacuum
It was easy to install but it wouldn't stay attached to the vacuum. The red latch would not fully seat into the groove on the vacuum handle. Also, the first time I tried to use it the cover popped off the latch and the spring inside went flying. When re-assembling it I realized that the tab on the red latch was too big to fit in the groove. I used a razor blade to shave about 1/16" off and used super glue to put the latch cover back on. Now it works fine.
