Surprisingly great product!
I was pleasantly surprised with this shape wear. I am a man who has lost a whole bunch of weight. I have to deal with a lot of extra skin so I often wear compression shirts made for men however, there’s always that extra little tire at the bottom. While I’m not quite ready for surgery shape wear is the best solution possible. Being a professional actor and musician/entertainer. It’s imperative that I be able to fit into a variety of costumes and look well in them. I added this shape wear to a already great product that I use which is a compresSion tank top.being a professional actor and musician/entertainer. It’s imperative that I be able to fit into a variety of costumes and look well in them. I added this shape wear to a already great product that I use which is a compression tank. Adding this really did the trick to slim my waistline, and did so comfortably and without visible lines or bulging. It's breathable, easy to wear, and virtually undetectable.

Might work might not time will tell
Fit is ok I think I upped it up and it fits have two hooks to adjust smaller if that should happen to become necessary...so far only complaint all the hooks were smashed into the material so had to use a butter knife to pry up a little so that the hoop could be hooked very frustrating for I also didn't want to bend up too much but after trial and error managed to get just enough space between hook and fabric to get hoop on hook...next complaint could use about 1/4 inch more material where hooks and loops meet but I guess for the price it's ok...I purchased this to assist mostly to remind me to sit straight up at my desk to help strengthen my core area with proper posture...if it also works to start "training" my waist that will be a bonus but i doubt it because from my research the "bones" in this are too flexible and not properly placed to shift floating rib but it may work for the redistribution of that soft squish with the compression. Not uncomfortable but as I said using as a posture corrector which seems to be doing. I'm short waisted so it tucks just slightly under bra which may prevent rolling bottom falls below my waist band of my pants again a plus to prevent roll-up. My only question I've asked myself was....why did I buy this at the start of a seven day heatwave of temperature exceeding 95 degrees! Well so far does seem to warm but I did work up a sweat first putting it on!

Decent enough product for the price
This may be a lengthy review, but I wanted to be a thorough as possible. I ordered this trainer because I'm losing weight and I want something to wear under my clothes to feel more confident while I am still trying to get down to the size I am aiming for. All that said, let's get into the details (fit, pros, and cons). First, the fit: I ordered the 3x. Based on the size chart, I could have ordered a 2x, but because my waist measurement was on the upper end of the 2x sizing, I went with the 3x to be safe. I'm glad I did too, because even though the 2x may have fit, it would have been EXTREMELY tight. Overall, I'm pleased with the fit. I was able to put it on the 1st hook (a bit of a strugglebut I got it on), and hopefully can go back from there as I continue to lose. It's compressive, but not overly so. The boning is flexible, so not super stiff and uncomfortable but still rough if you're not used to it. It does cover my whole problem area, but I also have a shorter torso (mine is about 12.5-13in from bottom of my bra to my lower abdomen). I'm not sure it would be long enough for someone with a longer torso. For reference, I am 5ft 4in and weigh 232lbs. I am definitely pear shaped. My waistline (2ish inches above the belly button, where the size chart recommends measuring) is 35 1/2in, the biggest part of my belly (just below the belly button, lower abdomen is my problem area) is 50in, and my hips are 52in.Now let's get into the pros and cons.Pros: once I was able to get it on, it is mostly comfortable. The fabric is breathable, and the boning is flexible, so even though it pushes into my waist when I sit down, it doesn't cut into it too bad. I've been wearing it for about 2 hours now with minimal restriction to my movement. It does squish everything in though like it's supposed to.Cons: because the width of my hips is such a drastic increase from my waist line, it does bunch up in my waist crease, but it's not intolerable. It was a struggle to get on, but then again, I think that's kind of normal for a compression garment. It does seem small when trying to put it on, but with some wiggling and scooting I was able to get it where it needed to be. It does seem to have stretched out a bit though since I initially put it on, though I could just be getting used to it. Only time will tell if it holds up well or if it stretches and gets super loose. All that said, overall I am pleased with this purchase. It's not the best waist trainer out there, but it is pretty decent for $11. If anything changes over the next few days/weeks, I will come back and update.

Horrible will definitely be getting a new brand all together
I opened the package and immediately was greeted with holes in the fabric and stains all over it was 100% used then never checked when returned. I wish I could get a refund but honestly the hassle is worth more than the product. I was so excited too but not anymore 😕 if I could give a rating of zero stars I would.

Less to no muffin top
Having a to suck in your stomach sucks so wearing this really holds in most of your stomach together giving you a more slender look. Does affect your amount of food and drink intake. Having it on for too long leaves your skin red and rashy. Attempt to do workouts with it on and if it breaks it starts to stab and pinch skin and will leave a temporary mark and if u wear another one will not help heal it. Its very durable overall but i work 10 hour shifts unloading trailers which include bending down and stretching up for heavy boxes and these last a month or two before breaking.

Ended up not needing it, but it was comfy when tried on
Bought this in order to have it ready in case I needed help fitting into a too-small gown. I don't have a lot of core tone or strength, so in certain styles of gown I can look pregnant, and I didn't want to get my mom's hopes up in that area!I ended up losing some weight before the date I was wearing the gown so I didn't need to wear this waist trainer, but I tried it on and wore it around for an hour or so, and it's very comfortable. Someone who does period costuming would do well to stock up on these, as well as people who work in theater, on opera stages, etc.
