My favorite bluetooth headphones for working out - much better than Jaybird and LG models I've used.
I've been looking for a wireless/bluetooth headset that I can use at the gym. I started with a LG HBS-730 and, although they sounded great, they didn't work too well with my workout routine because if you do anything on your back (such as a sit-up) they easily slide off your neck. What I wanted was: nice, crisp sound, decent bass, lightweight, able to stick to my ears in all different positions, including jumping around, running, and working on my back.I almost tanked and got the pricy Jaybird Freedom Sprint headphones at Fry's Electronics. I spent $85 on them, put them on in my car and really, really hated how they sounded. The Jaybird's use Bluetooth 2.0 and the sound sounds muffled - it's not at all crisp and clear. The highs sound muted and the bass was flat. I returned them right away.I saw someone post about the Wingz 4.0 in a Jaybird review, and didn't really believe a $45 set would be better. Man, was I wrong. The Wingz 4.0 are incredible! There are a few people who have noted that the left earbud on the Wingz is louder than the right. The first pair I got - a red pair - did in fact have this issue. They still sounded great, but after using them for an hour it got annoying. I contacted Neojdx and they replied really quickly admitting to a few shipment issues and said they'd definitely get it replaced through Amazon. I purchased a new set and was sent a pair that works great.A quick rundown of what is great: - Great sound quality. These are not Bose, high-end earbuds, but they are totally fine for working out with. They have a strong signal, highs are nice and crips and the bass is decent. I set my iPhone 5 equalizer to "rock" setting and it's totally fine. Without the EQ there is a noticable difference. However, they sound much better than the Jaybird Freedom Sprint. I think this is mostly due to the Bluetooth 4.0 on the Wingz. - Bluetooth connectivity is a breeze, and on my iPhone 5 you can see the battery level of the Wingz, another plus for Bluetooth 4.0. - Super light. I was surprised how light these are - you really won't notice the weight on your ears. - Ear buds are comfortable. Another surprise. A lot of the in-ear buds really suck. These stay fit and feel good. The rubber wing really helps and is also comfortable. - Battery life - totally fine. They say 8 hours, but I can't really make a claim to this because I've not used them this long. Another benefit from the Jaybirds, which only claim 4 hours of battery life. I charge them after using them at the gym 2-3 times. I'm at the gym for about an hour each visit. - Call quality: again, really surprised with the quality here. Nobody has an issue hearing me, and I can hear their voice just fine. I usually have a big problem with in-ear, sound isolating buds like this with calls because you can't really hear your own voice when you're talking, but these are totally fine for 20-30 minute conversations. The only downside is that the cord can get caught behind your neck when you twist your head. If you are doing a lot of neck movement, just move the cord in front of your neck rather than behind it. They still work great and stay on your ears just fine.Hope this helps. I definitely enjoy these and will continue using these while working out. They're much better than the Jaybirds and LG bluetooth sets I've used in the past.

The sound is pretty good. Not the best but pretty good
I bought these to use at the gym as I'm tired of snagging wires and to use with my Apple TV, while my wife does homework. Sadly I didn't investigate the Apple TV thing well enough and so that was a bust.I was going to return them because of a problem: The cord sticks to my neck at the gym so when I turn my head the earbuds come loose enough to break the seal, which significantly degrades the sound. However, I tried different pieces for the earbuds and found a snugger fit that doesn't pull free at the gym.The sound is pretty good. Not the best but pretty good. Well worth the freedom of not having to worry about snagging a cord at the gym. The volume is good. Nice and loud. I like that the level of charge is shown at the top of my iPhone screen. I can't comment on how long a charge lasts because I've only used them 3 days at the gym so far. I have tried talking on the phone with them yet. They sync quickly with my phone. The control buttons have to be pushed much longer than the manual says they have to be pushed. Once you're use to it, it's okay. The materials seem a little cheap, but then they were only $40.Most Bluetooth earbuds under $100 get poor ratings. It seemed as if you have to spend that much or more to get a decent pair. I like my Wingz BT 4.0 and feel like $40 is a fair price. Hopefully they'll last.

Great for extremely active workout, some adjusting required
I am really enjoying these headphones as they are making it a lot easier for me to do my tabata and circuit workouts. Not having my phone attached to my body is a huge plus. I did try an armband for a while, but that was a pain since I had to make it really tight to keep it from slipping down my arm, and then I felt like I was cutting off the blood supply to my arm and THEN I'm a really sweaty girl when I work out so my phone would be completely soaked by the time I was done.My only issue with these is probably operator error: I do find myself adjusting them a lot during my workout. I can't seem to get the wings locked in the right way every time. It's not enough to ruin my workout, it's just I do find myself fiddling with them.Other than that, they're really great and worth the price! I use them 3-4 days a week and they seem to hold a charge for at least a few days, I end up plugging them in every few days just out of habit so I'm not sure how long the charge lasts, but it's never been a problem for me. Definitely recommend these!

Awesome!
I have never in my 29 years on this earth been able to find a pair of headphones, earbuds or a blutooth that would stay in my ear, even just sitting at my desk. (I must have oddly shaped ear canals or something) These stay in no matter what I do...sit, walk, run, move furniture, bathe my dog, work in the yard, whatever. Something about the wing design on these makes them fit like nothing else. They are also super light weight so my ears don't get sore after 30 minutes of wearing them. The sound quality is great, just be sure to break them in first. (play loud music for 3-4 hours, not while wearing them) They charge really fast, 2 hours max. The only problem I've had is that I have to speak up a bit when using them to talk to someone because the mic is on the right earpiece so it's a little far from my mouth but it's not bad.

ALL other previously paired items MUST be deleted from your smart phone. This is something that needs to be ...
The first unit shipped out would NOT pair with my iPhone 5. I returned the first unit and received a second unit. Prior to attempting your first pairing, ALL other previously paired items MUST be deleted from your smart phone. This is something that needs to be worked out by NeoJDX. Really like the second unit sent out. It paired seamlessly and are extremely comfortable. If you're going for a long run, make sure your smart phone is fully charged. Between the Bluetooth connection and the power required to drive the headphones, the play time for these headphones will be between 4-5 hours on your phone's battery.
