The Allergy Store Fitted Vinyl Mattress Cover, 6 Gauge, 16" Deep Twin White

Ok, so you can buy a fitted vinyl mattress pad at Walmart for about half the price of this one. However that means driving all the way to Walmart. It's so much easier when items just show up magically on my doorstep! This mattress pad is much thicker than the ones I buy at Walmart. Since its vinyl, of course, one must be careful not to yank, stretch and poke one's fingernails through it. My pad had no seam up the middle (I got a queen size). It was generously sized and fit over my thick pillow tip mattress with no problem. I put a regular quilted mattress pad on top of this vinyl one to protect the vinyl from stretching, to keep cat claws from tearing it and to give me a regular feel. I have an old dog who is sometimes incontinent and cats that have a tendency to barf so a vinyl mattress pad is a must in my household. I would have given it 5 stars if the price was a bit lower.

Dont know why I did not think of this sooner but I inherited my moms older cats when she passed away and they seem to pee on my bed when I am not around. I love my bedding set and hate washing it once a day because of this. I tried shower curtains but my personal cats are younger and think it is a slide so they get up there and push it on the floor plus it takes 3 to cover my king bed. Now I am going to try this all vinyl fitted cover to keep my bedding safe all day long and only have to wipe off accidents and keep my bedding clean and go back to once a week option. It is translucent so you still see my bed and the deep pockets allow for me to keep my pillows under it as well so I have a neat bed all the time. I need to get 2 more in other sizes for couch and loveseat.

This vinyl sheet was exactly what I was looking for. My biggest issue was finding one to fit my pillow top mattress, which is thicker than standard pillow tops. My husband has a tendency to spill things and I have chihuahuas and if they get over excited or scared, they dribble. I wanted to protect my mattress from any of those types of accidents. The cover fits my queen mattress great, even has some extra room around it, and definitely protects it. It was weird to have it on at first because of the feel of it under the sheet, but we quickly got used to it and forget it's even there. The only down side is how hot it gets. With just a sheet over the cover, you get warm. Not a bad thing in the winter, There is a fix for that I've heard, to put a thin mattress pad between the vinyl cover and your fitted sheet. I think we're going to try that since summer is just around the corner. But I'm still happy with this purchase either way.

I love this! I have used it for multiple things! I put it in my toddlers pack and play and let him paint and play with messy stuff in there. It’s so easy to clean I either just stick it in the tub and let the shower run on it for a quick rinse or I put it in the washer! I also have used it on a mattress and love! I put it over a large rug under a water table my toddler plays with in my house and it keeps the floor or carpet from getting wet! If you have a toddler just buy this! You will not regret it!

After reading the review about a child wetting the bed and it ruining the mattress I am totally unsure of this. It arrived fine and fits fine but I hate that seam that goes down the middle of the bed which could be the avenue for liquid to penetrate the mattress. Not happy-will keep but now have to find something else to go over this! They owe that customer a NEW mattress and a refund.

We use this to cover our bed after we get up in the morning to protect against misbehaving cats. Much thicker plastic and deeper pockets than the first one we ordered. Tried sleeping on it once but because it doesn't breathe (duh - it's waterproof!) I woke up drenched in sweat even though it was a cool night. Works great for how we use it.

It fits over my mattress, which is perfect. I used to go through all-encompassing mattress protectors quickly, they would rip within a few months, if not right when putting them on. This one fits over the top and sides of the mattress, just like a fitted sheet. It also fits over my 13-inch deep mattress, providing a waterproof cover. Lastly, it's thicker than other mattress protectors I've had, feels sturdier, and has not ripped when I put it on. Overall a good product.

Completely useless product. These “water proof” vinyl covers are two pieces stitched together with a nice, fat, non-waterproof seam right down the middle. My 4-yr old wet the bed and the urine seeped right thru this seam and stained the mattress. Thanks for nothing, Allergy Store. I bought three of these, one for each bed in our house and I completely wasted my money.

Best mattress cover that I’ve found so far. Tried many. My kid is a heavy wetter and it keep the mattress dry.

Have tried those other covers that state they are breathable and "waterproof" but they always end up leaking. This cover is thick and does the job. If you are worried about sound ect you can put a quilted cover over the cover.
