why all the bad ratings?
Its perfect for a breastfeeding Mom! I love this bottle! My daughter is very picky when it came to taking a bottle, she refused every single one, even one that got recommended to me by a lactation consultant (calma bottle- she hated that one) anyways the moment i gave her this bottle she loved it, i had the smaller 5 oz bottle before but she loved it so much i bought the one that holds more so she wouldnt complain everytime it ran dry.. NOW, to address the leaking problems found in the reviews... I have now had these bottles for 6 months ..I have never once had a leaking problem with either to bottles I had bought (includes the 5 ounce one & this one). Here is what I found,I'm betting most of you moms have been covering the top of the nipple with your finger when shaking then notice leaking after you shake it. This is NOT a bottle you can do that with- the nipple itself is too soft for that. With the lid on, I have never had leaking problem. The bottom itself does not leak ( I saw complaints on that too, I am guessing it was not from the bottom itself even though it seemed like it, it was probably coming from the nipple with the finger hold because you will notice the moment you use the lid to shake it you don't any leaking. noticed when when the rims insides are wet when screwing it forces the water that was inside the rims out- that's maybe where they thought it was leaking but trust me it's not ... I bet if they dried the rims completely before shaking with the lid on they wouldn't find that the bottle leaks .To elaborate on this a little more I wanted to say again- I have had these bottles now for SIX months and have not had that problem- I have used the bottles in the dishwasher and unscrewed the parts many many timesI also want to mention when cleaning you need to make sure you unscrew ALL parts, formula tends to build up on the bottom rims ad needs to be cleaned every wash.hope i explained it well enough, i dont know why this bottle is getting all those bad reviews, Me and my daughter absolutely LOVE IT!

I bought this bottle because my daughter was primarily breastfed and wouldn't take the bottles I already had for her. She is 5 months and thought that I should slowly transition her to a bottle. I had the Avent Natural bottles and also the Medela bottles. She wouldn't latch on to those two so I did a little research on this one. Initially, she wouldn't latch on. She would just chew on the nipple. After about the 3rd day of trying (I would try a couple of time a day for her to kinda get used to it), she finally latched on, but only for a few seconds. I think about a week after, she finally drank about 3 ounces. Now I think she loves it more than my breast because the milk come out faster. I haven't had any leaking problems. I do know that, it did leak once and I had the suction disk on backwards and once I corrected it, it never leaked again.

These are very nice, especially if your baby gags
My baby wouldn't take a paci because it made her gag and we ran into the same issue with bottles. This was the only brand out of maybe 8 that we tried that didn't gag her because the nipples are short(most realistic in length compared to what other brands say) she kind of liked them....not the bottles fault she just wasn't having anything unless it was her mama! They are cute and seem to be well made-not a lot of annoying small parts pretty easy. What I don't like is that they say not to use those handy microwavable bags to clean them in, dishwasher safe yes but not everyone has that option. We ended up moving to a training cup for our little picky princess, the born free transitional ones, forgot to mention this was for a baby at 10wks old now 6 months.

Now that he is 8 months he drinks his water or juices reall good, and he likes the texture of the nipple ...
Bought this when my son was 3 months and exclusively breastfeed, but I still couldn't fool him lol. He just would not take anything else not even a pacifier. But he did start drink a little from it when he was 6 months but he couldn't control the flow once you flip it over it just squirts out the hole so this was stage 1. Now that he is 8 months he drinks his water or juices reall good, and he likes the texture of the nipple it's real soft this is also his chewing toy! This has never leaked from the bottom or top other than the little hole . If my son took bottles like seriously this would be a perfect and cute bottle.

Great nipple! After every bottle from Walmart & babies- ...
Great nipple! After every bottle from Walmart & babies- r-us was slapped & screamed away, my 5 month EBF baby took to this bottle immediately. We purchased the "Comotomo" simultaneously as other reviewers recommended, but our baby prefers the adiri. The nipple is shorter and more realistic compared to most bottles and is more rounded than cylinder, truer to a nipple shape than a miniature can... We've had it a month now and am ordering a newborn nipple for our 6 month old. She is an aggressive nurser and is able to take more more milk than she can swallow so dribbles out the excess and wets her dresses. This bottle DOES NOT LEAK IF YOU USE COMMON SENSE AND USE IT AS THE MANUFACTURER RECCOMENDS! also, if you have a greedy baby, you may opt for a slower nipple! Good luck

Good for nursing babies
This is a great bottle for a nursed baby. I've never had leak issues, but I make sure all parts are dry and assembled tightly before using it. The only word of caution is that the flow is quite fast in these. I have a 9 month old very efficient nurser, and the level 2 flow on seems to be too fast for her. It seems to kind of spray into her mouth and she struggles to keep up. It is the best bottle we have found though and it works for the few times we've had to leave our baby

Adiri bottle
I had no choice but to use the Adiri NXGen bottles for my baby because he stopped taking the bottle for quite some time and this bottle was the only one he would take again for about a month or so. I only give this bottle 3 stars for the simple fact that if the bottom is not fastened extremely tight, it will leak. I also had a problem with leaking when I used the warming attachment, so I resorted to warming the milk in a separate container and then pouring it into the bottle. That being said, however, it was a lifesaver because it got my son to start taking a bottle again. These bottles are also easy to clean.
