We wanted two small electric bikes to easily chuck in the car for taking to parks, canal paths, woodland paths etc.For the price I'm impressed, with such small wheels they handle really well. You wont be doing any off road bumpy trails though!Battery lasts very close to the 15 mile stated range and tops out at 18mph on flat which for wheel size is surprisingly good.My partner and I have had alot of fun and she really likes them.A few not so good pointsComputer only shows battery remains not multifunctional as stated although the sellers are sending us 2 bike computers for free. Tbf I use my phone so not too of a pain.You wont be breaking any land speed records using pedals alone as the gearing is quite low.For my life of me I cant work out how to turn on pedal assist. Beginning to think it's not available.But all in all we are pleased with these and stand up to bikes twice the price.Fantastic for nipping around villages and country lanes, just what we wanted.Update 1:We both did a 18 mile ride and just dropped into last battery indicator so they are both good for 20 mile ranges. More than stated so can't moan about that.

The twist grip throttle makes it UK illegal but all other things are ok.There is not an actual mode setting and the 250w motor is an automatic gear version [no gear changing control];The pedals work and if the twist grip is used , the bike uses both modes.If the throttle is not used the pedals still send power to the motor.To use as a normal bike all power to the motor is turned off.

It was overall a good solid buy and I'm very impressed with how nice it looks. I'm very impressed with how quick it turned up, wasn't expecting it till April but came around the 22nd March. I have tried it out and although I haven't put the speedometer on it yet, with the electric motor it probably does have a top speed of 15 mph like the product description said, and I reckon it can do 25 mph with pedalling and using the electric bike motor. Overall the average speed I get out of a push bike is about 7-8 mph, on this I get an average speed of around 18 mph so it is certainly much quicker transport, and the best thing is that it doesn't cause pollution, completely road legal, no running costs and I don't get exhausted. My only problems with the product is that it never said that I would need certain tools to install the bike seat properly or get the ride height stable. Just be warned, to set this bike up a spanner is pretty necessary as well as a thing to tighten the outer ride height bolt in. Also the instructions didn't contain a lot of English, only the battery installation description seemed to be English. Other than those little issues, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
