Great easy-to-read Financial Book!
Very useful and easy-to-understand financial guide! Approaches financial advice from a holistic point of view instead of using advisors who focus only on one or a narrow number of investments approaches. Very easy read and highly recommended!

Good and odd, too
Programmed easy - press "smart" button on the door opener unit on the ceiling for two second (LED lights blink at you) then press the button on the remote for a second. It works but one crazy thing started happening and I cannot say if it is this remote for if recent earthquakes (I live in Oklahoma) make a 1/4 inch crack in my garage floor which may have made the alignment beams on the bottom of the garage door rails off. (This alignment beams makes the door stop and the light on the unit blink if something interrupts the beam while shutting - keep from hurting your pet or child if they sudden run under it. But this just started after programming the new remote and keeping in the second car when the crack has been there for a few weeks now. It can be overrode by holding the opener by the back door until the door is all the way shut. I'm thinking that may be one reason the batteries don't last too long on other reviews - it's using energy partially transmitting without the button being pushed or something, but I'm only guessing.

STINGER REMOTE ROCKS!!! WORKS GREAT ON MY '99 CRAFTSMAN
Stinger remote is fantastic! Wish I had bought one years ago. I have had trouble with my remotes ever since I bought my house four years ago. I had to pull up until my car is practically touching the door, roll down my window, stick my arm out and press 5-10X. There were also intermittent times--usually in the winter-- when it would just refuse to work for awhile despite my attempts to reprogram it and I would have to park outside. I tried new batteries to no avail. Finally the old one just refused to do anything. I went to Sears and bought one for $38!!! to use temporarily while I looked for something else. This Stinger arrived quickly and I set it up in seconds. That evening when I pulled into the driveway, I tried it from about 15ft away. It worked!!! I was so happy; I wish I had bought one sooner instead of suffering for four years. Only $12 with shipping on Amazon; I took the other one back to Sears. I have been using the Stinger a few weeks and it still works like a champ. FYI: I have a Craftsman garage door opener with the green program button on the actual unit. My remote claims it was made in 1999 and bears the # 139.53879, which I believe is known as 53879 in the world of garage door openers.

One is alive and kicking...the other burns through batteries. Luck of the draw.
Well...I bought 2 of these about 10 months ago and 1 has already crapped out. It drains batteries which has to mean that there is a short in the circuitry or something?I was happy that both worked and quickly programed to my garage door opener but was perplexed when just a month later the one I put into my car stopped working. I thought that maybe it had somehow lost the programming to the opener so I tried to redo that portion with no luck.I then went out an purchased another battery, which aren't the cheapest I must add, thinking that maybe the one that came with it was old. This worked for about another 3 weeks then it stopped working again. The remote I placed in my wife's car is still running strong on the original battery but mine has now burned through 2 batteries and I really don't feel like buying any more just to get another couple of weeks out of it.I guess it is the luck of the draw when you order these but I suppose you get what you pay for. I don't think I would order another one just because I won't know if it will work a few months down the road and then keep burning through batteries.

It works wonderfully. So
So I had to get a new opener for my granddaughter who just started driving. The one that matches mine and is a name brand was $80. Not gonna happen. I found this one which matched the model number, ordered it and received it very promptly. We tried in the morning to code it and failed. After school that day we both worked on it and still failed. As I went back into the kitchen to box it back up to return I double checked the battery compartment. Well, to my surprise, because she had already checked it once, I found the little plastic tab that kept the battery charged (not in contatc with the device), pulled it out and then once more tried to program it. Viola! It works wonderfully. So, friends, the lesson here is: if it doesn't work at first, its probably operator error. Try it. If I ever need another remote this is the one I am getting. Inexpensive, and very easy to use.

Works with nearly any opener and very reliable.
Nice little garage door opener. Very easy to use, just press the button for it to learn the code. I have an old Sears opener and was surprised it even worked with it. I figured I would have to replace the opener when the old remote died. Now I have a remote in all three vehicles, plus bought a spare if one broke. So far itโs proven to be very well worth the money!

Perfect for Motorcyle Jacket
The remote came with a battery saver tab to be pulled out before use. The battery cover is a bit odd to fit back on due to the shape and slide tracks that are built into the case but nothing to worry about. My Lift Master garage door opener can support up to four of these billion code remotes like this, one classic/static code via DIP switches or jumpers remote and one keypad at the same time.Sliding off the visor clip, dropping into a zip-lock sandwich bag for waterproofing, this fits into the right elbow pad pocket of my Joe Rocket Atomic jacket. I can now reach across with my clutch hand to my right forearm and open/close the door while riding without worrying about the rain or getting off to enter a code. I also do not end up leaving a remote to open the garage on the bike should it be parked outside.
