Sadhguru isn't just Wise; He's the Real Deal.
After watching many of Jagadish Vasudev’s [Sadhguru’s] videos on YouTube, there came a point where I naturallydesired a deeper view of his teachings & thoughts... so I searched for a book.I really liked Cheryl Simone’s narrative, which is the frame for Sadhguru's teachings in this book.It was enjoyable to read, it expanded my perception, and I indeed got what i was looking for --I realized that Sadhguru had even more to offer than what he shows in his YouTube videos.Furthermore, the wisdom in this book provided an imperative piece to my spiritual path,to which I was (and still am) immensely dedicated.Om.-Paul C.

Loved the book
Do you want to live forever? This books provides some ideas. :-) I loved the book and insights it offered. It answers some of the existential questions everyone of us has. I am going to the conference with Sadhguru in a couple of months. I hope the information from this book will allow me to better understand the enormity of that meeting.

Amazing is an understatement
So many life's important questions succinctly explained by Sadhguru. It is more a book by Sadhguru than by Cheryl. Cheryl seemed to be the vehicle through which Sadhguru explained things In a lucid manner. Cheryl's life experiences before getting in touch with Sadhguru are really important. The journey that takes people to a Guru is really important. This book also explains Sadguru's personal story, no way biographical but just as needed in the context of this book, this is a big bonus.I strongly recommend this book for anyone who is seeking self or have nagging questions. Cheryl, through her experiences, distilled some very important questions that are useful to everyone Anyone who reads this will come to certain conclusions and will be set in a direction that is helpful to them. Also there are some life changing miracles Cheryl writes about that changed the skeptic in her. This book is not about any particular faith as yogi transcends religion. Anyone from any kind of upbringing and any faith can read this and marvel at the common sensical approach.

Guru marketing
I read 'Inner Engineering: A Yogi's Guide to Joy ' and it was a decent read nothing major solid 4 stars, then I decided to continue with the topic and jumped on this book, right away the message was you must have a guru, like seriously? You can name this one instead of "A Little Guide to Freedom and Bliss" -> "Guru marketing" with all respect it is just authors personal need for some other middle man which is fine there are many ways but I would not waste money otherwise if I knew it would be about any "guru".

If you are on a spiritual quest, this book offers grist for the mill.
Enjoyed the book and wanted to know more about the Mystic. The download link at the end of the book did not work for me.The book is well-written and the style engaging. There were a few editing glitches in the Kindle version though none left you wondering what the author was trying to say. I encountered concepts in this book that were new to me and that is always exciting and intriguing.

Great read for the seeker or to learn more about ...
Great read for the seeker or to learn more about Sadhguru. Author goes on an incredible journey with a enigmatic yogi and mystic and brings you along for the ride. Her relentless quest for spirituality in life and her path to find enlightenment has led her directly in his path. A modern day Paramahansa Yogananda. He offers the technology for well being in his quest to quench the world with spirituality and indulges in a Q&A session with the author over many midnight sessions.

Amazing!
Sadhguru's life reads like fiction. I feel so privilege to be in this moment in history with such an amazing being. As a "normal" human being It's hard to fathom how his life unfolds and manifests for our growth and awakening.

A gateway to our true human potential
I'm just finishing my second read of this amazing book. There is a power in these pages that goes beyond the physical dimension of ink on paper. After my first reading, I was inspired to attended an Inner Engineering program and then the Bhava Spandana Program. My experiences at both of these events have been, by far, the most profound of my life. In the six months I have been practicing Isha Yoga, I have experienced a complete absence of my (previously severe) allergies, and a 90% reduction in my use of an inhaler for asthma. I have far less stress from my business (residential construction) and, as I am told by those closest to me, I am a much lighter, more joyful person. This has not come from reading Midnights, it has come from the regular practice of Isha Yoga. Midnights, however, was a beautiful and powerful push to start me on my path to greater possibilities and potential.Rereading the book again after having attended two Isha programs, I find I am having many similar experiences to those described by Cheryl in Midnights. It is one thing to read the words, another vastly deeper knowing to have experienced them myself. This book has received some criticism for its lack of substance. I would strongly disagree. In Midnights we are fortunate enough to get both the words of a true living master and the valuable perspective of a real seeker (Cheryl). If you are ready, Midnights can be a window into a dimension beyond our physical perceptions.

The rest of it l found boring and irrelevant
Abit disappointing, not really what l was expecting. Very long winded. Most of what the author has written re this speakers wisdom is already on YouTube. The rest of it l found boring and irrelevant. Still not quite sure as to the true integrity of Sadhguru Vasudev re controversy surrounding his wife's death, which l only discovered after purchase of book otherwise l wouldn't have bothered.

Worth the read.
Read this in one weekend - honest, thought provoking yet simple wisdom offered in a genuine 'take what you want from it' kind of way. It left me seeking more from Sadhguru and I haven't been disappointed. Cheryl Simone presented this in a way that had you sitting right there with them.

Not the best book ever
The interview bits with Sadhguru are quite interesting but there's a lot of info about the co-author American lady's personal life which for me was way too much and I'm absolutely not interested in her so that could have been left out. Also way too overpriced IMO.if you watch a few videos of Sadhguru on YouTube you'll probably be better off.
