Swelling and pain is GONE!!!!
I have several conditions that are made worse by inflammation, so I'm always looking for help with that. I had been taking Tumeric in pill form and had not seen much of a difference. I was in a class for cooking to help with inflammation when someone mentioned Golden Milk. I had heard of it before but didn't know much else. After looking at several formulas and reviews, I settled on this one. Someone was looking over me when I did. Within a day, my ankle that had been swollen for 3 years following a break, was the same size as the other one. The day after I started taking it, I woke up thinking I was dead because I had no pain. I was very energized and overdid it the next day, but it felt good to be able to move that much at all. A couple of things. On day one, I mixed the powder with hot milk, not water. It was delicious, rich and sweet. Yesterday, I tried mixing it with water, as recommended. I found it tasteless and the sweetness was gone. I didn't even want to finish it, where after mixing it with milk, I put in an inquiry asking how many cups of it I could take without doing damage to my stomach (as many as you want). When I woke up today, I was in pain again. I can only assume that it was because I didn't finish even my first drink yesterday. I won't make that mistake again. Today I'm back on pain pills because of it, but I know I'll be off them tomorrow because I'm drinking my second cup as I write this. I'm SO grateful I found this.

One of the "must have" items in my pantry for good health
I read about the benefits of Golden Milk several years ago & tried many different brands/configurations. I soon grew weary of the glass-bottles & hard-to-mix pastes of most pre-made Golden Milks & have too busy of a schedule to make it from scratch myself. I was thrilled to find Opportunities' configuration of an easy-to-make Golden Milk powder in an easy-to-store (and easy-to-take on the road container). I'm a competitive cyclist who travels to races in my RV: so this gives me a great way to drink Golden Milk (which I consider to be essential to recovery from training & racing) in a way that's very travel-friendly. I also take this in snack-sized zip lock bags when I have to travel for my day job in technology. I knew after I had bought my 1st purchase that this would become one of the "must have" items in my pantry. I consider this product so essential that I have it on subscription with Amazon: it's delivered to my home every month like clockwork. I absolutely LOVE this product & have recommended it frequently to other athletes as well as friends/family who are interested in the health benefits of Turmeric. PS I have celiac disease & am lactose intolerant, so I really appreciate Opportuniteas' full disclosure on their labels & their strict manufacturing processes which helps me be sure that I'm not exposed to any potential ingredients that might make me ill (which is really important to me with my training & racing schedule)

Flavorless; take a tumeric pill
Flavorless drink. I really love Rebbl Tumeric Golden milk which is a coconut milk based Tumeric elixir but the stuff is expensive at $3.99 for 12 oz. at Whole Foods. I thought this product would taste somewhat like the Rebbl and was willing to compromise a bit on the taste for the reduced price per oz. Man, was I disappointed. I mixed the power with coconut milk and it barely tasted like anything, not spicy, etc.. Maybe there's inflammation countering properties, but I would rather take a pill than drink this. Tended to clump and not mix well, even if mixed in a shaker.

Delicious taste, and it works!
This is a wonderful product! My favorite recipe so far has been to add a scoop of the turmeric elixir powder to my morning breakfast tea (an organic looseleaf blend of breakfast black tea & silver needle jasmine tea, & organic lavender tea, with turmeric elixir added, plus a little organic steamed milk, sweetened with demerara rough cut sugar). Heavenly! (I know… sugar… not so healthy…. but wow... the taste of this tea blend!!!! …. this has to be the most soothing, delicious, comforting drink in the world!)This product works! And mixes easily into hot water. So far Turmeric Elixir is my favorite source of turmeric! Also tastes good with just hot water added for a soothing, calming drink before bed. Helps my arthritis pain... a lot!

makes for delicious easy healthy snack or add to any food to make better!
I have an inflammatory disease so everyone and their plumber is constantly telling me about tumeric. Fine, I got a bottle of tumeric at Whole Foods. Which at one point I carried around with me. It has yet to get ingested into my body because I have no idea what to do with it. I can, however, give you a list of 100 people who SWEAR they know someone with lupus / MS / RA / cancer / etc who are now totally fine thanks to tumeric. I'm confident in the articles I've read that capsule form is not terribly effective. I don't know the first thing about Indian cooking. So around and around we go. Then I heard about this "new craze sweeping the health-obsessed" and though I don't love the term, I of course read the article about something called Golden Milk. And it didn't sound or look half bad. Which led me to a link for this product. I read the reviews and it felt like all of them had been provided the product for free so I had a moment of doubt, but a lot were verified Amazon purchasers and the reviews were specific. I figured, what the hell, I'll try a bag. It arrived yesterday and I've already made it twice! It is VERY good, and so far the only way I can find to get tumeric into me. Yesterday I put it into some milk (I use only grass fed good quality milk) and it was a delicious filling snack by itself. This morning I threw a half scoop into my iced matcha tea, delicious. I don't love products that have sugar pre-added but the sweetness is so minimal and I have a feeling it would be blech without it. Also of note, I don't like coconut and there is a definite coconut undertone in this, but it's like good cooking... the tastes are layered, the coconut is a very late afternote, and so subtle it took me a while to pinpoint that it was coconut at all. I definitely recommend giving this a try, I like it a lot.
