The Best Permanent Marker - Other Brands Simply Don't Compare
After trying so many other permanent markers from different brands, Sharpies remain the gold standard. These markers are consistent - the ink is dark, flows easily, and dries quickly. I use these markers on everything - for labeling containers, writing out signs, signing playing cards, and for drawing on balloons. The ink never smudges and always looks bold. It's my go-to permanent marker that will always be my first choice and something we will continue to stock up on.

They work the same
They seem fine. When compared to the Sharpies we have been using that I know for sure are Sharpies they seem visually different in that the ink on the markers is printed lighter so who knows but they seem to work fine so far.

Good quality, hold up for high use
Can't go wrong with the Sharpie brand. I use these a lot with kids in after school programs so they get high use. I have tried off brands and they don't compare.

Important Info About Permanancy and Comparisons….
First of all, all Sharpie’s are not equal. The skinnier Sharpie markers that are finer tipped are not anywhere near as permanent as these Sharpie’s here. These ones here have more ink so they are more permanent.I keep trying different types of “permanent” markers. I put that in parentheses because they just don’t end up being permanent. They end up fading out in a minute with just water, or a year at most. It is amazing to me how many markers say that they’re permanent and in fact they’re not at all! In my work, it is Absolutely Imperative that I have permanency that lasts for at least 2 years at least and the tags that I use ink on are in the soil where they get constant moisture, pesticides, etc…. Sharpie is the only marker that has worked thus far. It actually does fade so much after 2 years that I have to redo my writing with more Sharpie but I haven’t found any better markers. So yeah it’s more expensive than other “permanent” markers but it’s the only one that is actually permanent for 2 years so I have to purchase this one.
