Nothing Petty about this petticoat... Love it!
I purchased a rocking 50's style dress for an event that I had to attend at my church. When I received this petticoat I instantly fell in love! it was such a great asset to my garment. It brought my dress to life! I absolutely love, love, love this petticoat! It was true to size, the layers of the petticoat were fluffy and I could alter it to suit my desire. The material is of quality and I would certainly purchase more in other colors. I'm very satisfied with it!

LOVE!
SO adorably cute! So. Here's the story. At my LuLaRoe party last week, a friend saw my LLR red Amelia in my closet. I'm wearing that dress to the work party and she said it would look amazing with a crinoline underneath. So, silly me, I wait until the last minute to look for one. NO ONE in my small-town-that-thinks-it's-a-big-city had one. No bridal shop, no department store, no specialty shop. I went to my favorite fabric store (we only have two) and decided that I would quickly whip one together. After running around town, looking at patterns (I had one picked out), had the notions and fabric in my buggy, just waiting for my cutting line number to be called, I decided to forget about it. The party was tonight (I was at the fabric store 18 hours ago) and I still had to work today. There was no way I could sew one in time.On a whim, I decided to take a peek on Amazon. I found this one. I bought two. (a red and a black one). I didn't have time to read the reviews because if I ordered within 23 minutes I could have it expedited shipped to my house in time for tonight's party. I quickly measured my waist to get the right size...Oh where's my measuring tape? Seriously? I have it ALL the time! Grabbed a strip of fabric, wrapped it around my waist, marked the spot, then went out to hubby's work bench to measure the strip of fabric. Crazy, huh?So, I checked out the skirt sizing and my measurement (40"--twice the woman I was in high school) fell in two sizes. I went with the smaller size (large) because the waistband is elastic. I normally wear XL or 1X. (For LLR addicts, my Amelia is a 3X--because I have DDD boobies. It's a curse I'll carry.) THEN...while tracking my package (it was like waiting for Santa) I read the reviews. Panic set in as I read positive and negative about the sizing. I was regretting being in such a hurry and paying so much for the extra shipping. (Still, I could not have made one for the price I paid for these two.) But guess what...like reindeer paws on my housetop, I heard the UPS truck come up our road. I was like Pavlov's dogs, a kid on Christmas morning, Winthrop breaking out in song when he saw the Wells-Fargo wagon a'coming down the street....18 hours later my crinolines were here!SO...finally---product review. 1. I was excited to read in the reviews about the "storage bag". Nope. Neither one came with one. No biggie. I can sew one. 2. I was terribly worried about the waist band and thought it would be too small. IT FIT PERFECT! I'm layering these two and they stacked amazing under my dress. I neatly folded the lining on one and you could not even see it. There was no extra bulk because of the top layer of fabric from stacking them. 3. I spent about 15 minutes "fluffing" the ruffles and hand pressing the wrinkles out. I have them on clip hangers until I get dressed tonight--when I will post a picture.I'm so tickled with these. I'm 51 years old. Everyone woman can look amazing and feel good when wearing a crinoline under her dress.

Runs small in the waist, otherwise awesome!
I purchased this in the size small because the listings states that is the appropriate size for a 24"-36" waist. I have a 27" waist, and I feel like this small is a tight squeeze on me! I wish I had purchased the size medium (or even the large?!) instead. I prefer my waist bands to sit comfortably but not squeeze as it allows me the illusion that my five children haven't totally thrashed my stomach skin. :)That issue aside, I can't complain about the quality of this tutu skirt for the price I paid. This 26" length is perfect for a peek-a-boo look with most of the knee length skirts and dresses I have (I am 5'4"). It takes a few minutes to fluff it all out, but I'm happy with the look and the feel of it once I do that. I just wish these darn things didn't take up so much closet space, it would be fun to own more colors! I've contemplated putting them in vacuum seal bags but I'm not sure it's worth the time/hassle of the super fluffing job that would then be necessary every time I want to use this. Two thumbs up for a useful and cost effective tutu to add the extra omph I want to my skirts and dresses!

Perfect fit
Perfect fit for a size 2-4. Might be snug for larger sizes. Looks great with a circle skirt dress for a special occasion. Great quality for the price. Might want something fluffier for bridal, but this is perfect for date night.

Perfect petticoat!
The slip and waist band are soft and comfy. The petticoat gives great fluff and puff for vintage dresses! The fit is perfect it has a bit of wiggle room, I ordered a size L/XL in black and I'm a size 18 jeans.

Absolute Perfection!!
Absolute perfection! I love everything about this petticoat. I purchased the Large, which fit my 39" waist perfectly. It fits right on my waist nice and snug (but not too snug). The first thing I did when I took it out of the package was hold it upside down to fluff it out a bit. I may try popping it in the dryer on air for a minute to see if that works as well.I am including a few pictures of it under my new Polka Dots Vintage Pin Up Dresses for Women Size 1X F-8. It is perfect under that dress in both fullness and length. In fact, I love it so much I just ordered a second one in another color.Edit 12/8/16: I ended up ordering this petticoat in blue as well so am including a video of it under my Floral Pin Up Vintage Dress for Women with Belt 1X F-23.

The perfect finishing touch for Homecoming!
We bought this for my daughter to wear under the Miusol Womens Classy Vintage Audrey Hepburn Style 1940's Rockabilly Evening Dress for Homecoming, and it was perfect! She wears a size 8, and we ordered the small/medium, and it fit very well. The top portion was comfortable, and she could fluff out the crinoline or set it down a bit, depending on her mood. She could sit, stand, and dance comfortably, and the length was perfect for the dress. It really brought it to life and was the perfect finishing touch!
