This flexible piece of rubber wraps around a standard goggle strap and rests comfortably against your head on soft pads. The mount features rubber grips to keep it from slipping, and is counterbalanced so VholdR won't pull the strap off your head. Adjustability comes from, well... You! This mount lets VholdR look right where you're looking, it will catch point-of-view video from your line of site, the first time, and every time.

Good goggle mount
I bought this to work with my ContourROAM primarily for skiing/snowboarding. My main concern was since the ROAM was their newer model that it may not fit correctly. I was very happy to see that it fits very snugly and securely on the mount, and never had any worry that it would come off. The installation on my goggles was easy. For full disclosure, I use Smith I/O goggles, and it fit perfectly with that line of goggles, and didn't move around on the strap. I would recommend though to take a look at the goggles you intend to use and see if there is a spot on the side that the mount would have room to be on. I found that it sits closer towards the front of the goggle strap. My only real complaint/issue is that with the weight of the contour and it bounces/jostles on my goggle strap sometimes when i ski (mostly if i hit a jump or stop suddenly), but it hasn't been bad enough to make me think that either 1). it may fall off, or 2). it compromises the quality of video, and honestly, it's a goggle mount, so I knew prior to buying it that it'd have some movement, and it's done better than I expected. I've fallen pretty hard a few times, and the camera was always secure.Pros:The mount itself is lightweightSecurely attaches the cameraEasy to get the camera on and off your goggles.Cons:Will have some movement, hits against the helmet. No way to rotate the camera vertically without taking it out of the mount, makes it hard to adjust it on the fly.Overall, I've been pleased with it. If you have a vented helmet that doesn't allow you to mount the camera on it directly, this is a very good alternative.

Awesome for Attachment to Dive Mask
I used it to attach to the right-side of my dive mask and it worked like a charm. Most times I would forget that the contour roam was even there and. Highly recommended. I wish that GoPro would have something like this.... Their loss.I also wish that Contour would include it in their standard package. They should show the whole setup attached to a diver's mask on their web site. The set would sell itself.Note that to use this with a dive mask, you'll have to replace the dive mask standard strap with a $6 - $10 strap.

Great product, no problem while ATVing!
I used these on goggle straps while riding ATVs when I didn't have a profile mount and these work just as good, no problems. I was worried they would start slipping down the helmet, or it would all be too heavy for the goggles but there was no problem like that at all, as it has a rubber backside that grips to the helmet perfectly. Don't worry about the camera falling off either as there is a very satisfying click and snap when you're putting the camera one which makes it hard to slide off, especially during rough riding. If you don't have a mount to stick to your helmet or you want to have something for when you use someone else's helmet, get this! It works just as well as any other mount.

Contour mounts are overpriced, this is one of the better ones - not machined aluminum...
Machined aluminum? LIE - Mine units 100% plastic. Maybe it was made with machined aluminum drills cutting through the plastic or something... I don't know what makes this any different from the hat clip one that's half the price. Definitely not the machined aluminum that's non-existent.At any rate - it works as stated, and seems secure enough. I haven't field tested it enough to say otherwise. It functions better than the crappy head strap contour makes, which I had to return as it was 100% useless. That being said, this is waaaay overpriced for what you get. Should be $10 bucks max. Contour must make all of their money on their cheap accessories. I kind of wish I had just gone with a gopro to have a decent assortment of quality accessories at realistic prices.

Great mounting option
Just got back from a backpacking trip in Colorado and used this mount for my contour +2 to document our ascent to Blanca Peak. This mount works great with the gopro headmount strap that I'd purchased previously before returning the gopro camera. It is adjustable for many mounting angles although it can be a little difficult to pull the two pieces apart. The camera is heavy enough that when jogging or taking heavy footsteps the camera can bounce a little bit but that's not a fault of the goggle strap mount more so the tightness of the strap that you put it on.

Much Sleeker option than GoPro
I use this most every time I snowboard with my Contour Camera. Going to ski resorts it used to be that no one was wearing helmets and that is changing more and more. Now that everybody has a helmet, what you see now are helmet cams... EVERYWHERE. While they are fun to have, the look of the big boxy GoPro cameras is rather gaudy and I would imagine that you are constantly aware that you have a big camera hanging off of your head. With this strap mount it attaches to the side of you helmet on the goggle strap and as long as you fit the strap tight enough you'll forget it's there. The angle is changeable so you can get the perfect shot. I would not recommend using this without a helmet becuase it probably wouldn't be too comfortable. I gave 4 stars becuase you have to have the strap tight against the helmet or else the weight of the camera could cause it to rock and move around which can get annoying.

Mount it to your helmet....
I got this for skiing. I intended to mount this to my Dragon DX goggles. The problem is that the dragon goggles have that dam big rubber emblem right where you want to put this mount. It will still work good behind the emblem, but it reduces your ability to adjust... Secondly, I put this on just behind the emblem, and kinda moved around a bit. The weight of the camera (contour roam) caused the camera to bob around quite a bit. I'm guessing the best way to go would be a hard mount to the helmet or a vented helmet mount. I'm still going to give it a try up at mammoth this weekend...

Vholdr Goggle Strap Mount
Have applied it to a suitable strap and it seems man enough for the job, though I haven't actually used it yet.

Fixation casque
Un peu difficil à mettre en place mais fait trés bien son travail. Aussi un peu difficil de tourner la camera une fois monté sur casque.
