This book is a great checklist for someone who knows nothing about cars, but I ended up finishing the book before I realized it. There was very little Porsche and model-specific information. May I have my $8.99 back, please?

Really useful - put me off buying one!

Streathers buyers guide is a must have when looking at prospective 964s. It is relatively short but has handy checklists so that a well balanced judgement can be made. Helps avoiding irrational buying decisions.

This technical book on the Porsche 964 provides everything you need to pick your way methodically through the different models and could certainly help you avoid lemons and ultimately bag a bargain. Considering its a soft back cover it is a bit expensive for what it is - but the information it contains is invaluable.
