Tilley Classic T3

Not sure why it is shown as a ladies hat on Amazon, on Tilly and every other site it is shown as unisex. Great hat however and as a chap who is bald it offers great sun protection when out walking the dogs and also looks good!

good quality excellent hat

I recently bought the hat so time will time but so far I love the hat. Durable and comfortable but do beware of one detail. This is the made in China line that was recently introduced by Tilley when they were bought and lost their soul. This is not the classic made in China hat that made the brand so famous. Some regard these hats are poorer in quality.

Absolutely love this hat, I have another that is over 20 years old and still as good as new, nom full of character. Got this one for Sunday best😉

Bald head and baseball cap did not cut it in the summer heat.This sorted the problem out straight away though you do have to wear the chinstrap in any sort of wind to stop the hat blowing away.

I love this hat. Waterproof and looks good too.Definitely recommend

I must have ordered the wrong size and called the company directly to ask about how to do an exchange to a different size. Bruce (Holland Hats) spent almost 10 minutes making sure I got what I wanted in the size (I needed a 7 1/2) and color I was looking for. Very considerate and understanding!He sent me the new hat expedited (at no extra cost to me) and it arrived in 2 days! Right size and color.This is a quality hat and a nice looking hat. Nice stitching and the hat holds its shape very nicely. It has decent air flow and plenty of protection against the sun without having ridiculously wide brims. It also has a pocket in the top of the hat for storing an ID or credit card. On the inside, it also has instructions for machine washing and air drying. It has a string for putting under the chin in windy conditions and is easy to remove (and store in the pocket) if you don't want it "hanging around".Again, excellent customer service, great quality, and the price is set correctly considering the quality of the hat.Thanks Hollan Hats and thanks Bruce! I have two older Tilley hats made in Canada and I bought this thinking it was still made in Canada. Not so. The brim doesn't sit nice and flat like the old ones and is wavy. Definitely not made with 'Canadian persnickidiness' like the older hats yet they are still charging a premium price. Alex Tilley would be ashamed.
