Timorn Replacement Controller Touch Screen Digitizer Pad Spare for Wii U GamePad (1 x Touch Screen)

Followed YouTube video to replace the screen on our Wii U gamepad. Docking one star because although it works perfectly, the original touchpad has a black plastic border around it which makes it look nicer once in place. This replacement touchpad does not come with a black border so it's very very obvious when looking at the gamepad that it's a replacement screen and makes the gamepad look 2nd hand

Firstly the digitiser works fine, if that’s all the info you need, buy one.So the digitiser was of good quality for an non OEM part, it was well protected by the protective screen films. It came with double sided tape on one side for the LCD screen but not for the black surround, but I use my own M3 tape anyway.It was a tiny bit fiddly fitting the ribbon cable as it was maybe a mm wider so needed to be exactly fitted; don’t give up or get stressed fitting it, you’ll get it there in the end.

The touch is slightly different from the original but is working perfectly

This isn't crystal clear like the original, so games look hazy through it. I have removed both front and back protective film and I'm not happy with the quality. There is also a grid of dots over the screen and I don't see that on the original. The screen looks so nice without this on, but unfortunately rendered useless without the touch for some games. I've tried 3 different sellers now and they are all the same.
