The wife had to have a good quality shoe that would accommodate a pair of orthodic inserts. Her doctor recommended a couple of models of the New Balance, this one being one of them. I would say that the majority of New Balance shoes are not made in the USA. These however are as you can plainly tell by the outrageous price. They are quality shoes. I would never pay this for a pair of tennis shoes for myself but since they are medically necessary for my wife I bite the bullet and pay it. I only wish this model had more color choices for her in her size.

i am a NEW BALANCE shoe wearer for over 20 years and counting!!! the greatest pair to own. i have it in every single color and am always looking for more. i just wish it would be cheaper, since i wear them out very quickly

The insole is great for foot support, these are my go-to sneakers, and it's a plus that they are also trendy.

The shoe has a great fit and does a great job of supporting your foot.

I walk 2 miles every day. These are the best shoes for walking I have found. Great support, the insole removes to fit an orthotic, and there is plenty of toe room.

If you've read any of my other reviews, you know I've been on a hunt for a somewhat lightweight athletic shoe with a sufficient amount of cushion for my heel pain and arch support for my flat feet (Yes, I have foot drama).These shoes are VERY well known for their stability and usefulness for heavier walkers. They are also pretty expensive, but when you have foot drama - you expect to be paying a bit more. So, here's my experience:Yay!- Attractive. These shoes have classic New Balance styling that is actually pretty attractive. I would definitely wear these out and about.- Stability. These are very stable. My foot feels secure in this shoes.- Arch Support. There is great arch support in this shoe.Meh...- These shoes feel clunky! They are pretty heavy (as shoes go) and that makes them feel clunky. I feel like my feet are dragging and clunking along.- Cushion. The stability definitely cuts into the cushion. They are definitely not pillow soft on my toes. They aren't hard...but not a lot of cushion.- The sizing was a bit tricky (and different from other New Balance shoes). I usually wear a wide in my New Balance shoes, I did not need a wide in these.If you are looking for a solid shoe, this one is for you. It feels pretty solid. Also, if you have really wide feet, these will likely be very comfortable. I would say this is great for a wide foot that wants a lot of stability. I like my shoes a bit more lightweight, so these are a no for me.

This shoe does not offer much arch support. My ankle was also a bit sore after my first walk. Hopefully I can find the correct inserts to give me more stability.

Great shoes, perfect size and just as pretty as expected! I was a little concerned about the delivery but they came within 10 days which was what they promised.

Delivery was bit late than schedule but I'm very happy with this shoes and it is so comfortable! highly recommend.
