Queenstar 18 Inch Cast Iron Fire Grate (Bottom Grate) - Flat/No Legs

Really heavy duty, we had trouble getting the original style so this fits the bill and a cheaper option too

Didn’t do my research enough was too small for my open fire

Did exactly what it was meant to do.

This a decent grate but the sizing on the product page is somewhat, and I am sure inadvertently, misleading. It says the grate is 40cm or 15.5 inches wide at the front. In fact it is 14 inches wide at the front but 15.5 inches wide at the widest point which is about 3 inches back from the front. As a result it did not fit. However my grate is very old and a slightly different shape so it was always going to be a bit hit and miss. Turns out it does fit nicely inside and on top of the old broken grate which has holes in so it will do.However be cautious about the measurements if looking for an exact fit.
