Review of WANDER Men's Athletic Ankle Socks 3/8 Pairs Thick Cushion Running Socks for Men&Women Cotton Socks 6-9/9-12/12-15I have gravitated towards this brand of socks. They have changed the way they’ve been made somewhat, and I like how they used to be made before better than now. I first bought this brand about 8 years ago, having purchased calf-length socks. Then I tried their ankle socks. They changed them all to a thinner sock. So far, they have held up better than any other brands I have tried. I used to buy the standard big box store brands, name brands, but those seem to wear out quickly. These are comfortable too. The sizing is spot on. The elasticity is good and holds up well. I don’t like that all I could find on the product information is that they are imported, but it does not specify from where. They are slightly more expensive than some, but you get 8 pairs for the price. This time they arrived in the box pictured in my review. I feel they could lower the price and send them in a plastic bag rather than in this heavy-duty gift box.

I am so tired of buying quarter socks that are of poor quality and do not fit. I'm a size 13, which apparently is impossible to manufacture with reasonable quality and size (sarcasm). All of the other brands I have tried shrink to a size 9-10 after a few washings and begin to develop tear holes from being stretched to fit. I waited until I ran these socks from Wander through two washes before I wrote this review. The Wander socks are very well made, are softer than the others I have tried and after a few washings they fit perfectly without any wrestle-stretching. I'm going to buy more and toss out the other brands in the trash.

Ok, so, I gotta be honest.... I ordered these by mistake. I was looking for socks for my son and was comparing several and accidentally left these in my cart (intended to buy other brand) but Holy crap.... best accident I've ever had. These socks are WONDERFUL. My son put them on and FELL IN LOVE. Comfy, soft, thick, durable and EXTREMELY well packaged... he felt "like royalty" opening them. Now I want to order myself and my other son some. 100% 10/10 do recommend absolutely.

I was tired of socks made for sizes 6-12 being too long for my size 8.5 feet, so I was excited to see these offered for sizes 6-9. These seemed to fit great, but they wore out quickly in the ankle from rubbing my shoe, because the small sock sags down putting a weak elastic part on my Achilles tendon.Otherwise these are thick, comfy and durable in the soles. They are still wet in the drier when the rest of the load of whites is completely dry.

My hubs is a 13 x wide. These socks fit great. They have a high cotton content. They have held up better than any others we’ve purchased. The bottom is nicely padded and the middle arch support holds snuggly to the foot without being uncomfortable. Hopefully there don’t go away because we’ve purchased them twice and hope to again in the future.

Was looking for some comfortable, thick, cotton socks for treadmill at the gym so my feet don’t slip too much in my shoes when sweating a ton. These work extremely well and the price for the number of socks is fantastic. Appear to be made well and should last a long time.

I bought a bunch of different socks with this order and there are BY FAR the best ones. They are the most comfortable, non restricting, warm but not too thick socks ive ever owned. I will be buying more in the future.

I ordered size 12-15 but by the fit, I can tell these are size 9-12. After receiving 3-pair of 12-15 I decided to order 8-pair but they were tight, even before washing. I already opened them all before fitting and wore a couple pair so I'm not going to return them.I am shoe size 11 with Wide feet, and the first 3-pair they sent fit great out of the box. My next order was for 8-pair. Out of the box they left marks around my ankles. too tight. After washing the first order shrank quite a bit (expected since they are cotton) but were still wearable.My complaint is that there is no size marking on the box or the socks. There is no way of knowing what they ship to you you. This leads me to believe they just box them up and send whatever they have.I may try them again, but not sure if it's worth my time and trouble. It's so hard to find socks that fit wide feet.

My feet are size 10 but wide so socks have always felt tight but with these socks they fit snuggly but don't bind around the ankles either. They seem to stretch easily so I image large foot sizes would be comfortable as well. I am not a runner but, they are a little thicker than some socks but no issues fitting into any of my shoes so it's nice to have that extra cushion. Have not worn them in the summer but so far suitable for winter and spring. I've only had them a month or so but so far hold up perfectly in the wash. I don't want to wear my other socks now. Reasonably priced as well.

Great ankle socks. Good quality good fit. Highly recommended.

Good but not great

I am a woman's size 11, and use these as house socks with my slippers. They are very thick but don't make my feet sweat. They keep your feet warm and are very soft on the inside, so it feels like you're putting your feet into clouds. The elastic has not worn out yet and I have been wearing these socks every day for a few months now, and the ankle elastic is not tight at all! Very comfortable! I do recommend it!
