Good 12v strip
It's pretty tough to find a WS2812 LED strip (and compatible flavors) that accepts 12v, so it's a good thing that this one hits the mark where it matters. I needed 12v to run relatively long strips (~10m at 30 LEDs/m), and I'm happy to say that to my eye, I cannot see any decrease in brightness or color accuracy at that length. This is compared to 5v strips of the same density, where they seem to be unable to reach 5m before suffering from voltage drop side effects.A few things to note:* As a reminder, there is no adhesive. The strip is 10mm wide though, and there are plenty of appropriately sized mounting tape products out there that should work* As some other reviewers have mentioned, the LEDs can heat up. This shouldn't be a problem as long as they are not bunched up together (although keep in mind that I'm using the lower density variant at 30 LEDs/m)* It will accept 3.3v for the signal input. I'm controlling my strip with a Raspberry Pi, and it appears to work with no issues. Just make sure to create a common ground to avoid flickering* There is fairly significant passive power consumption. 13.3m of these LEDs (or about 400 LEDs total) will consume about 8 to 10 watts even while "off". To avoid this problem, I've used a relay to control power input* A random few LEDs can blink momentarily when you initially feed the strip power. This will likely be unimportant to most, but I thought I'd bring it up for those that plan on using a relay to constantly turn it on and off* Quality control appears to be good. I've ordered 3 of these strips and have had experienced no defects so far (no dead LEDs, no misaligned components, the strip is completely straight and aligned through multiple segments, etc)I've been using these strips for accent lighting for about a month now, and so far have not run into any burn out issues. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with these strips. They can be fairly costly, but they get the job done. Props!

A 1000uF capacitor is needed across the power leads to prevent LED burn out.
I used these LEDs with an Arduino controller that I designed for a set piece in a theatrical production. They worked perfectly and added a lot to the show. The 12V version is far superior due to the fact that you essentially aren't impacted by voltage drop. The color was consistent across the entire strip with no additional power injection. I was extremely happy with the performance of these LEDs and would definitely buy them again.

Multiple bad LEDs within a few months.
Looked great at first. These new WS2815 LEDs are big improvement due to redundant data transmission. But it's not infallible. As photos show my pristine strip (it's never been cut), developed multiple bad LEDs near the beginning and end of strip. Despite being set to a green color, I'm getting completely random pixel colors that flash and change constantly. Yes I could repair by removing bad pixels, but once you stick the strip to something, that's not easy. And after only about 1000hrs of use is just unacceptable. The strip was installed outdoors, in aluminum channel, but under awning, so never got directly wet. I am using WLED on a ESPPixelStick. I have it running at reduced power, to limit total current and voltage drop. It has only seen winter temps before pixels failed. This was a beta test for a plan to outfit my entire house with permanent LEDs. I've abandoned the plan and will probably switch to flood lights. I've tried multiple brands of flexible led strips and they're just not reliable.

Good quality, extremely bright, easy power feeding
I wasn't sure to buy the 150 or the 300 LED version. Finally decided on the higher density, despite the increased power requirements. Really happy with the 12 V version, it makes wiring easier. It can get warm at full brighness, I recommend uncoiling for testing to facilitate heat dissioation. The LED strip is included in a soft silicon flat tube, quite confident that is totally waterproof with the sealed ends. My project will include 4 units (1200 LEDs) along the top of a wall for a big pool party. I'm testing with a WiFi SP108E controller that could be better, however the strip is very good quality and works perfect, as expected.

LED Strip
Always compute the power requirements before purchasing the equivalent power supply. Don't ignore the AWG limitations for the maximum ampere throughput of the power supply wires.Nomenclature gets messy here with WS2812B, WS12813 and WS2815 but if you know your LED strips (or have access to Wikipedia) you can make this 300 LED strip work flawlessly especially if you are programming each RGB LED individually! ;)

Nice lights for the money. 12v means fewer Amps, which means more lights per power supply!
Overall this is a very nice light strip. The hardest part was figuring out how to wire it to a three wire setup since it’s setup for four wires. Turns out that the two signal wires can be combined. Works great after that with an Arduino Uno controlling it and an separate 12v power supply. I bought more of them they were so nice. I’m nearly blind from the output too. Nice and bright!

Good quality, but no help manual included
Professional lighting technician here... I bought these for a simple lighting effects installation for my TV. They work just as advertised, fairly bright and good construction. It's worth noting this product doesn't come with any documentation or adhesive backing. I found the silicon waterproofing does not stick to adhesives well, but it was very easily removed. The contacts are also very easy to solder unlike other cheap LED strips. The backup data line is.a nice touch for pernanent installs. Also worth noting that these are not RGB, but rather GRB diodes. If you are installing them with professional lighting control this can mess up your colors if not corrected with programming.Overall it's a good product, but I wouldn't recommend it if you don't know exactly how these LEDs work. There was nothing in the line of required accessories or help manuals included. Just the LED strip with leads on either end.

So in love with my new blinky lights!
The media could not be loaded. These really look great paired with the Colorfill X2 Controller (https://amzn.to/2Y9CiYj). I installed the strips into a Muzata V-Channel Diffuser (https://amzn.to/2XN0PmL) using Acrylic Adhesive Foam Tape (https://amzn.to/2SjSzEN) and love the neon type effect they provide.

Corde 12V parfaite!
