ACTUALLY WORKS!
I am an elderly lady and love coconuts. I bought Fanatu Coconut Opener and one other brand and the both had very toxic odors and I could not open the coconuts because my arms are not strong any more. I was able to open this coconut after about 20 bangs...I wish the hammer was heavier for people frail like me. Also, the scythe to take out the meat is designed for the coconuts that are cut in half and does not work in tandem with this coconut opener which opens at the top. So it takes me an hour to scrape out the coconut with a spoon. They should include a coconut meat remover that is designed for this type of coconut. All the same, the price was better than most and I finally found a gadget that works! I am thrilled.
