I think this product is great for those like myself that want to bike with their dogs but don’t want to spend $1-200+ on an attachment that allows them to do so. For $30, you really could not ask for more. It comes with the product (leash and all!) and all of the tools you need to install it - which I thought was a nice touch (especially because I didn’t have the tools needed on hand and would have had to go get them had they not sent them along :) )My only small critique/long term concern is the overall sturdiness of the bar itself. It does wiggle ever so slightly when you hold it and apply pressure/shake it. It’s nothing dramatic at all and is not a safety concern at this time, but it is something I would be sure to keep an eye on over time with a lot of heavy use, as I would with any device like this (especially if you’re biking with a beginner/large dog that pulls).Overall, I am very impressed with this and am eager to see how it performs throughout our adventures! Highly recommend!!!

Worked well on our first ride. One half of the slip on clamp broke on our second ride. Pretty disappointed. The split clamp that fits around the seat post is made of aluminum. Not the best metal choice for the clamp where any pressure will be.I maybe able to find a new clamp at a hardware store and fix it.

This bike dog leash seemed like a reasonable option on the cheaper end of the price range. It arrived quickly (for NZ), within about 10 days. Basic plastic packaging. Installs easily, although it would be better if there was more protective rubber/foam as my seat pole (and yours) will get a bit damaged from tightening to stop the attachment twisting. I had installed the attatchment at 90 degrees but this doesn't work well, at least if you have a 30kg dog. Your dog can pull the attachment (twisting on your seat pole and possibly damaging the paint) and mine ended up at a 45 degree angle facing behind the bike.However, once you get going the leash is pretty good. Our dog got used to it pretty quickly, but the leash is quite short (which has it's pros and cons) so doggo was not to so happy on the road given the proximity of the curb. It would be good on trails.Overall, a reasonable product for the price.

I regret having to return this. It was perfect. I'm a disable senior citizen with 2 small dogs. I Recently Bought a 3 Tire bike It's big. I purchased 2 of these. It was great in to one of them I can no longer screw back on. It screw a little less than half way. My dog is small I thought I could chance it. But It fell off. I have to return it. I only have enough energy to run my 2 dogs twice a week. It was great having 2 because I can run them both at the same time. It will no longer screw tight I can't leave it on my bike because then I can't get it through my front door by the bike being so big anyway. I regret having to return it I'm kind of a matchi person. Now I have to look for another company to buy another one. If you could just make the a bar screw on better that would be great. it's not matching anymore to screw it tight and secure.

Bought it November 2nd it's December 10th and the product broke I ride every day with my husky was working great till the threads came off of the part that holds on to the bike

It kept my dog from running into the bike. Did not make me lose my balance. Easy to use.

The item was easy to install and seemed decent for a handful of rides. Unfortunately, the clamp broke, so I had to order a replacement. Then the replacement's clamp broke too. Both times it only lasted 4-5 rides with my dog before it snapped. My dog ran away the first time it happened, but fortunately I had an extra leash when it happened a second time. The metal clamp is either poorly designed or the materials are bad. Either way, I'm not ordering this a third time. Should be OK for really lightweight dogs.
