TekHome 2019 Upgraded Solar Powered Birdbath Fountain Pump.

The little fountain works. As long as it's in good sunlight, the motor runs and it pumps the water; the trouble is that it pumps too well, and pumps all the water out of my shallow dish birdbath in about half an hour. The problem is compounded by the fact that the fountain floats on top of the water, so if the birdbath is the least bit unlevel, the fountain floats to one side of the birdbath (will not stay in the middle), and will spray the water out of the fountain even more quickly. Also, the ripples in the water, caused by the spray cause the fountain to float around and spray the water out. I tried weighing down the fountain with a rock, but covering any part of the solar cells stops the fountain from working entirely.

I love this fountain and it works and looks great. I gave it a 4 because the interchangeable heads are difficult to get off and the fountain shoots so high (when it's completely in the sun) that the water empties out of the bowl after an hour or 2. If you put it in a pond, pool or a bigger bowl, it's great. When it's cloudy or the sun goes down over the trees, you get a really nice, small fountain (water doesn't drain out then). I just unhook it in the back when I'm not sitting outside. Overall it's fun to have and I would definitely recommend it.

Loved it when it was working. The tip of the plastic fountain cracked. Return window was short, so I'm stuck with a broken fountain.

Great product. Works great. My bird bath is only 2 inch deep. I have to make sure it is filled with water all the time. Not really good for a shallow bird bath.

The fountain only works in direct sunlight. It may have said that in the description. I’m terrible for not reading all of the details. Who needs a fountain that only works when it’s in the sun?

This works so well. When the sun is on it is works very well. Once the sun goes down it takes a break that it needs. No batteries or electricity to worry about. Just drop it in water and it does its thing. I absolutely love this fountain

If the bowl is shallow, it runs out of water. That could ruin the pump. you have to keep an eye on the water level. Not even a couple of hours

It doesn’t work grow very long just tiny streams of water
