Works great
The SSD fit well into the caddy and the caddy fit well into the drive bay. My only problem was with the front bezel. Didn't fit HP Envy 15-k020us. To be fair the item description says it is for HP Envy 17t. I was able to remove the bezel from my existing DVD drive and put it on this caddy and it fit perfectly.

Great idea. Just wouldn't fit my laptop. My laptop was compatible with information on their web site. Had to return it.

Good!
Good quality product. Easy to set up and install. It comes with the four little screws you need to secure the hard drive to the platter, and comes with a little plastic shim in case your hard drive is a bit slimmer than most. Once installed it sits flush with the laptop body and looks stock.

One of my best purchases
I installed my original hdd on this caddy. It literally took 5 minutes after watching their video. Has been working well in the past 3 months

Excellent quality product
Excellent quality product. It fit my HP laptop very well.Here are the pros:- Well engineered and quality material used. Looks like an original part from the manufacturer of the laptop. It provides its own chassis connection tab and all the screws. It also provides a perfectly shaped bezel.- It doesn't require any parts or screws to be removed from the original optical drive and used on the new caddy.- Comes with a nice nylon carrying pouch to preserve the original optical drive removed from the laptop.And the cons:- The bezel color is a bit off, although it makes a nice contrast.- The nylon pouch is sized for the drive without the chassis connection tab, so it needs to be unscrewed before tucking the optical drive (or the caddy) in the pouch.- Its price is significantly higher than competing products.But all in all it's an excellent purchase.

No support from Newmodeus as I can't use it aas a primary hdd with windows 10. Useless purchase.

Pricey but works great
Price for $33 is not worth it for a basic cuddly, however, it was very difficult to find online so I guess they took that advantage to up their price.Anyways, works as expected (it better for the price lol). Got dual drives as I wanted. Laptop runs smoother with the SSD

Produit qui s'est parfaitement adapté à mon pc, invisible ,design identique que le lecteur Dvd d'origine.Un Ssd pour le système, bref que du bon.je recommande vivement.Contacter le vendeur pour trouver le caddy qui correspond à votre portable.

Tut was es soll
Habe mir für mein 17" HP Envy dieses HDD Caddy gekauft, umgebaut ist das ganze in 2 Minuten, das Caddy passt wie angegossen und sieht aus wie mit dem Laufwerk - also einfach top, gerne wieder ;)

Peccato che non è adatta al 15", per cui si è dovuto lavorare un po' per adattarlo. Comunque ... s'è potuto fare.
