As someone who has tried both this newer looking model and the older models now, I can confidently say that this model of menstrual cup sterilizer is certainly a much higher quality. The older menstrual cup sterilizer models being sold on Amazon today only sterilize for the lapse of 3-minutes, which in reality did not inspire cleanliness as I still felt that the menstrual cup was not fully sterile. I have been wanting to switch to a menstrual cup for a long time but have been hesitant, primarily because cleaning the cup always posed an issue. Purchasing special soap for the cup seemed questionable, boiling it in the pan seemed disgusting, so I never went for the switch to menstrual cups and suffered with pads/tampons for too long. Since finding out this menstrual cup sterilizer existed, I finally went for it & bought a pixie cup and saalt cup. Both cups fit in this sterilizer perfectly! This has made my life 10x easier! I can now use the sterilizer to clean my cup with JUST WATER - (no soap needed!!)This steam sterilizer is super easy to use - just put the cup in and press the button and it's ready after the light turns off.The product is incredibly well-designed & super easy to use. I’m pretty happy with my purchase because it makes my life so much easier! I don’t need to buy any special soap to wash my cup and I have peace of mind that it’s 100% clean and sterile when I use it.

I really am glad I purchased this. It makes that time of the month much easier and safer for my health when using menstrual cups. I even travel with it! It doesn’t necessarily dry the menstrual cup unless all the condensation/water is completely gone from the inside. Overnight may be the only time it may slightly be dry. Not an issue for me though. The Doctors show recommends boiling (or sterilizing using one of these things) your cup after every use and not to reinsert your cup after rinsing due to the bacteria that studies show is still present when using cups that may lead to TSS. Using a cup that has been sterilized after each use is the best method (perhaps next to cloth pads) for preventing TSS. So, get a few cups in your rotation and buy this product and you will be good!

Glad I don't have to use the stove and pot anymore. It gets rid of the odor and feels cleaner.

I'm so happy that u don't have to use my pasta pan as a menstrual cup cleaner anymore, now all I do is put my diva cup in my lotus care unit and press the button. Ahhh... (Worry-some sterilization thoughts melting away). - I like that this unit has a red light that lets you know its hot and still running too, that way I know from across the hall my cup is ready. This product will make any girl switch from only organic tampons or pads to diva cups or lena cup ANYDAY!

Works like a charm ! I wash my cup in vagisil ph,then sterile with this steamer , its quick and very quiet. So happy I got it, didn't like boiling my cup seemed gross to me
