Nockturnal Archery Lighted Nocks Installation and Removal Tool, Yellow

I love this tool. I used a knife point to turn off the nocks before. It tears them up over time. I made a lanyard for this tool out of 550 cord and keep it around my neck when target shooting. It easily turns off the nocks. You can use it to position any nock as well. Although it would be easy to do, I don't bother packing it around hunting. I still use a knife for that kind of infrequent use. But with the price of the nocks and the damage I have done using knives this tool is well worth it's high cost. Out of the 15 nocturnal nocks I have 9 that now malfunction. None do to the battery being dead. Since getting this tool I haven't messed up any, accept one I put another arrow in on accident.

The tool works great for turning off your knocks with a minimum of damage to the knock. The other side of the tool for removing knocks from your arrows however is useless. The plastic is too flexible and the knock just pops out of the tool when you try to pull it out of the arrow. For removing knocks I recommend putting some padding in a bench vice and put the nock firmly in the vice without crushing it. REMOVE YOUR BROADHEAD IF YOU HAVE ONE INSTALLED! Then give your arrow a quick yank. If the nock slips out of the vice find something more grippy to pad your vice like a piece of rubber or soft wood.

Just buy this. Put your little screwdriver back in the toolbox, and quit being so cheap. I used to use a little screwdriver, and it worked. But I was always worried about getting back hole in my nice backpack. Not anymore.

it works great, the only thing that is a downer is the part that turns off the light in the knock. It is sharp and there is no protection cover, it does cut, so be careful.

Product was not as described. I ordered the yellow one with the hook on it and received the red one with a small metal nob on the end. I was deciding between those two options and purchased this one for the hook and received the red. Disappointed that I didn't receive product as advertised. They need to change their description

Nice little tool to have with these nocks. Much easier to turn off without damaging the nocks. I was using my knife before and it really tore em up! This tool has a nice curved end that won't damage!

I just got this and it works great to shut off the nock. I have not tested the insert part yet but look sot be very well made. It is small so I do plan on buying one or to more to keep at home and put in my back pack.

The metal end is too thick to actually slide in to push the plunger up and turn the nock (x) off. Without a way to turn them off without damaging the plunger they can only be turned on and off a limited times before they begin the malfunction. Also once blood gets inside the nock and begins to malfunction. I love the nocks for accuracy and visibility. At this point, they are more like a dispable nock. I will continue to use them because at this time accuracy and visibility are the more important factors when hunting.
