Very nice trellis for vines!
We ordered two of these for passiflora vines. Both arrived on time and in good shape despite one of the boxes apparently experiencing a rough 5 day transit. They can be assembled by one person although two people make it somewhat easier to align the posts and circular top when assembling. The stakes that come with the trellis are not of much use because the stakes are short and stock they are made of is round and has a very small diameter. That said we didn't buy this product because it had great stakes - we bought it for the shape and the materials it was made of. So because we live in an area with frequently moderate winds we bought stakes that will hold the trellis in place during our summer monsoon season in Arizona. We've already planted the vines and installed the trellises, and we really like the looks of them. We've had some moderate wind the last couple of days and so far no issues. They seem sturdy enough to withstand typical winds here in the Phx metro area.

FIts my need
I was prepared by the reviews I read and I would like to make some suggestions. I knew the product did not have screws to hold it together, so I purchased JB Weld and put it together. Putting Weld on each joint and letting it sure for 24 hours was the key to making this a sturdy addition to my garden. I suggest putting the top ring (four curved pieces) on the floor and JB Welding it first. That way it is flat and level when you put it it on top. Then I used JB Weld and welded the middle piece to the bottom. which had five joints to hold it. I wiped off the excess and let it cure 24 hours. Finally the top was the hardest part. I wanted to make sure the top was level and did not rotate so I had to weld each joint (five also) and put the top ring in. This required some minor taping of the parts in place and turning of the pieces until it was perfect. I wiped of the excess and let it cure for 24 hours. The results were very exciting. It was level and strong. I was very pleased with this option. The look is exactly what I wanted. In addition to building the trellis for strength using JB Weld, there were several mentions to stability issues on the reviews. Do not think you are going to use the three little stakes it comes with to hold it in place. To prevent instability, I drove a metal rod (similar to rebar) in the center under the trellis, into the ground about four feet, leaving about 10 inches above the ground in the center of the pentagon bottom. I then wired the trellis to the rod using stainless steel wire. I know this sound extreme, but I was not going to depend on the 12 inch stakes I purchased to stake it down. I wanted to ensure that once my climitas grew large over several years, a sudden wind would not topple it. The results were great. This also made it stable enough to hang my hummingbird feeders from the ring at the top. I will try to post pictures later as I add the veg and feeders. For now with these modifications, I would recommend this product. It is exactly what I was looking for at a price I could justify. It will be a great focal point in my meadow garden and I look forward to watching the hundreds of hummers it will attract. Happy Gardening.

Great shape, easy to assemble- long lasting
I am so tired of putting up arched trellises, successfully establish my planting only to watch the arch eventually sway forward and back, and finally start to collapse as the legs degrade. And then you fight to cut off your planting without loosing it altogether.I had been to a garden where many of these shapes were used in a circle and immediately responded to it. The plant grows up the center and eventually cascades up and over the ring. The shape lets light into the center of the trellis which gives a more even growth. I decided to give it a try at home, but it took a while before I found this on Amazon. The form comes in pieces that are easily assembled, but a second pair of hands is helpful at a couple of points. It is very stable and it is easy to sit the whole trellis on a ring of bricks, to keep the base off the ground and make it less likely to rust.I bought the trellis last spring (2013) and planted Passion flower that is still establishing itself. But it has started cascading and I love the look. So I just bought another for a fragrant wisteria, it just went in this weekend, I'll revisit this review in the future and let you know how they age.If you are looking for a new trellis, I would highly recommend this lovely shape.

Price too high for quality since will probably rust
Looks nice but not great build for price. The steel is powder coated but there are chipped areas. These chipped areas show rust as do the insert locations. Think durability will be an issue due to rust. Assembly: there are no instructions and it is tough but very do able for one person. Please use a weld bonding glue especially for top ring. The company should include jb weld or other bonding agent with the product as rickety without. How assemble: 1) assemble toe top hoop (put JB weld in each insert point and assemble); 2) put hoop on floor and weight it down so sits flat and wit for JB weld to dry; 3) after dry add the bent arms to middle piece and keep standing upright (put JB weld in each insert hole);4) as this is standing put hoop inside the bent arm connector “c”s; 4) flip over so hop on ground; 5) arrange the bent arms around the hoop so equidistant (not fun, with ruler the distance between each is about 21 inches)). 6) if you id above carefully put pencil dash on hoop at each location; 7) move each c and put some JB weld on side of each pencil mark so will hit the c when slide the c back.; 8) Dry with hoop on ground; 9) add the bottom piece (did not JB weld this piece but please do if want to) 10) put un pot or on ground and beware the tree stakes provide little support so get something better if need.Fit the bottom is about 13.5 to 14 inches across in five directions so be careful. My put was just at this number so needed to pot in different pot. Enjoy but this thing will rust out. Got blown over by wind so need buy some good rods or something to secure it in place.Fell over in wind. Now need get some ground anchor stakes since the stakes provided are useless.
