Wow...
Bought to replace same brand and model 6x9s add they wouldn't fit in my Pilot. I misread guides (I think) saying Pilot took 6.5s instead of 5.25s. Took a LONG time to get these to fit (my error, I believe) but once I got them in they screamed! These are relatively large for 6.5s. Tweeters have 3 different mounting brackets they come with, foam surround, mounting plates, and even little infinity stickers if you want to show off or look professional. These are 2 ohm model so you're ducking maximum power from your amp. I BELIEVE they also work with head units but I've not had components hooked to head units so I can't speak to the viability. I have these running off a little Rockford 4x100 and they are super loud. I WILL SAY listen BEFORE you decide to engage that +3db tweeter button. The tweeters can be harsh after long periods at high volume. I disengaged the +3 and these little guys are subtle and refined. Not as much as a silk tweeter but they definitely can handle sound quality decently. The midbasses are not as punchy as I'd like but they still handle the 50-120hz solidly. Maybe if they were a perfect fit they'd sound a little better (have baffle for water issues and 2 layers of peel n Seal for vibrations and overall sound quality).Overall, I'm not mad at the purchase at all. Loud, clear, clean music all day long.P.S. for the first week I had them hooked up the tweeters did smell a little "tinny" but break in periods do that. I drove 1200 miles at 70% volume (most of the time) and these guys still sound great.

Infinity Kappa series are the best you can get in the price range.
Because of their quality, I'm surprised Kappas don't cost double their price. These component speakers have excellent sound quality. So good that a younger friend of mine listened to a remastered Fleetwood Mac song, that he normally would not like, and his comment was that the speaker quality made the lead singer's voice sound like that of an angel. Besides SQ, the speaker being a 2 ohm impedence allows it to draw more wattage from your amplifier, giving them more power for an even cleaner louder sound. As well as getting the full potential from your amp or stereo head unit if not using an amp. So even just changing the speakers in a stock car audio system, the Kappas will be louder and clearer than the stock ones, which are likely 4 ohm. I am using Kappa series in all 4 corners of my vehicle, as well as a 10 inch Kappa 1000w sub woofer that has switchable ohms of 2 or 4. If you don't understand the difference in ohm ratings, a good example is that by switching my sub to 2 ohms my amplifier is pushing 400 rms watts instead of 250 at 4 ohms. Having the extra power adds to clarity by not needing to turn up your stereo's volume as much, therefore less distortion. Keep in mind, being a component system you may need a professional installer to mount the 1 inch tweeters. And optimal placement is essential. Bouncing the highs, from the tweeters, off of the windshield gives them even more depth and clarity.

60.11CS. Beautiful sound
These are loud, clear, and almost transparent. Make sure you give them a proper installation to squeeze the most out of them. Amp is a must, otherwise the treble will be too harsh(not to be confused with 'detailed') and you'll get no midbass. Install them right, seal the doors, give them some clean power and you'll have one of the most beautiful sounding component sets available. The tweeter is probably the elephant in the room amongst all the reviews here. It is prominent, it cuts over road noise, and stays detailed at whatever volume you play your music. And it's really detailed. You'll know when your music is not recorded right with these. If this is the type of sound you are looking for, there are no better component sets at this price point. If you want bass over transparency, you'll be better suited with the GTO 609C's. 5 stars.

Come with various mounting for tweaters
Compared to previous 260 dollar set of components they sound basically equal. Seam to handle good power. I have about 80 watts to them and I wouldn't go much less. They are a little less efficient than previous speakers. Lots of mounting options for tweaters.

2011 Outback with the Harmon Kardon System
So to start this review out, I’ll say I’ve had my eyes on these speakers for quite some time and finally decided to do a full system upgrade in my 2011 Outback. Now, my car came with the Harmon Kardon premium audio package from the factory. However after seeing that the factory system had its limitations I decided to get these. In terms of sound quality and sonic signature, they sound VERY alike however these have a MUCH cleaner mid bass and low end that the factory 6.5’s. If you’re looking for a speaker system that will sound phenomenal, clean and detailed at all volume levels. Look no further. I’m running these off of the stock Harmon Kardon Amp that came preinstalled in my vehicle (about 75 watts max per speaker, closer to 30-40RMS). To me it sounds great and I’m extremely picky with my sound systems. May add a Kapp sub sometime soon as well (not that I need one just prefer to have a dedicated bass driver).

No midbass and harsh highs
These speakers are one of the biggest letdowns I've ever purchased. I was looking for Clear highs but these just give a harsh hiss in the night frequency. I listen to trance music and it just sounds like constant hissing to the point I have to lower the trouble over halfway on my head unit. There is also next to no mid bass, I had to turn that up on my head unit the entire way and I still can barely hear any midbass, it's actually unbelievable how bad these speakers are and how much there is no mid bass, my Kia Optima stock speakers were better.I ignored all of the negative reviews, don't make the same mistake I did.
