Lots of power
We bought 2 of these batteries a few months ago and haven't really had the chance to experience them yet so I can't write a great review but I also have nothing bad to say either. I can say that after charging them, I have more power than I had with 5 standard deep cycle batteries. I'm excited for the future.

exactly what I needed
I bought this for my 2018 four winds sprinter RV to replace the house battery. It fit perfectly and provides me with so much more power that I can finally boondock without the generator on all of the time. I'll be returning to vmax for future battery needs.

Didn't work for me.
This battery appeared to work well at first but all I was powering was some LED lights. Once I started adding more consumers I started to have all kinds of electrical issues. I thought it was some sort of grounding problem so I wasted a lot of time chasing. I finally pulled the battery and took it to have it tested. It was very dead. The voltage would drop to 7 volts with only a 25 amp load. Once I removed the battery all of my problems went away and I continued to operate on a small 100 amp hour battery without issues.I obviously had bad luck here. Unfortunately it was past one year by the time I figured out what was happening so that was a very expensive lesson. I'm looking at other brands for a replacement.

8 to 10 year life span inaccurate.
Lasted 4 years..I used 8 in series/parallel for 48v solar..not happy spending 1000 dollars a year..won't buy again..

So far so good. The real test will be how long it will work good.

Gave me 5 years service life in van with extreme temperatures.. Will buy a replacement 5 years later
Bought this back in Nov. 2019 and placed in a converted van with extreme temperatures. It was only 175 Ah back then and $100 cheaper. Now VMax increased to 200 Ah. Abused it by leaving it in super hot weather (100-120 deg. F for months) and many times depleted to 20% instead of the recommended 50%. Lasted 5 years. Can't fully charge it anymore. Short life span after 5 years of seasonal use. Now it's time for me to replace a new one. I will buy this again because I don't need to get 2 chargers or add cumbersome cables to connect 2 smaller 125 Ah in parallel. Reduces cabling and charging complexity drastically by using larger Ah. It's quite heavy and will need extra back strength to lift and carry.

Going on 9 years of perfect service!
I have 2 VMAX batteries 200 amp each powered by 915 watts of solar, I have never been disappointed and this coming January 2024 they will be 9 years old. They have been GREAT for me!
