Inline drain valve to expedite coolant evacuation without turning your unit upside-down. This product is designed to be placed inline on any hose. Simply choose fittings for the desired hose diameter. Construction is nickle-plated brass. To use, install the valve on a hose near the bottom of your setup. When you need to empty the system, place a container below the valve and unscrew it. A segment of 6mm (1/4in) ID tubing can be attached to the drain nozzle. Next, open the top reservoir refill plug on your cooling system.Additional Specifications• Materials: Nickel-Plated Brass, EPDM• Max Temperature: 120°C (248°F)• Max Pressure @ 25°C: 15kgf/cm2 (213.4psi)• Fitting Thread: G 1/4 BSPP

The valve is just a screw cap
If you were expecting twist-controlled flow, this isn't it. It's basically a four-port manifold and a barb tubing port with a screw-on cover. I use these for both fill and drain ports, then back them up with quarter-turn ball valves. Where leaks are concerned I like backups.Works for me, price is reasonable for the two parts, and you get a spare plug to boot.

Not a valve, but handy for making one.
It's not so much a drain valve as just a 4-way section. There's no spigot on this; it's a barb on one end and 3 inlets on the other. You can totally use this as part of a drain valve system, but it's not a 'valve' in the mechanical sense. Still, like all Koolance stuff, very rugged, well made; looks pretty and very easy to assemble and use. -1 Star because it's not, as I said, a 'valve'.

Great Drain Valve
Works great as a drain Valve. No mess, no Leaks. No problems. Put it after my Swiftech MCP 35x pumps running in series.

Works well, and don't build a system without one, it is great for the initial air purge and indispensable when draining the system. Just make sure you have a bucket ready when opening (and the system fill plug to avoid vapor lock), as it will release fluid almost on the first twist of the cap.
