Very strange design decisions. The camera is advertised as having the ability to have internal storage. While technically true, they have intentionally broken the internal storage in some use cases.The camera uses the Tosee app on a mobile device to access the camera. First, the Tosee app charges you monthly to activate the motion detection, even if you are using the internal storage! So you've bought a camera with internal storage, but they've intentionally disabled the motion sensor unless you pay monthly to activate it.Second, the camera REQUIRES that it be online at all times. So again, even though you've purchased a camera with internal storage, if you lose internet connection the camera shuts down the motion detection and won't record anything.I bought this to put in a remote area. I was figuring I could go out with a MiFi to connect to the cameras and download footage if I had an incident. Unfortunately the cameras are useless without internet. So even if you use this for home security, be aware that if you have a power outage that takes out your internet, you have no security footage even with your internal storage. Very strange design.

I’m giving this camera 5 stars even though I returned it. I have another one that works great, and bought two more; unfortunately, for some reason the cameras (for whatever reason) would not connect to the wifi.
