The media could not be loaded.  Friggin awesome. Be careful when you’re mounting it. Read the full directions twice! because if you screw up and drill the holes wrong, you’re gonna be there all day trying to fix it. It only mounts to wood or concrete. It will not work on drywall-only. You need wood studs to mount it to your wall. if you have metal studs or a metal door frame, it will NOT mount without special equipment.Now that that’s out of the way, this thing is awesome. very convenient and sturdy. My one-year-old tries every day to get it open and he can’t defeat the auto locking mechanism. He goes right for the latch but there’s not enough play/looseness to get it unlatched, no matter how hard you pull or push on it. The tension is solid. The materials and build quality seems solid. Wall mounts lock up tight IF you measure your drill holes properly.Some people are saying it’s impossible to open and close one handed. They’re wrong. You do not have to hold the little locking knob open. Just give it a twist and let go and it will temporarily unlock, letting you pull out more slack. the moment you start letting it retract, the mechanism will automatically re-lock. I have no idea how it works, but watch my video if you don’t believe me.

I bought these for my parents house to install on the stairs. Super easy to install. The idea of easily pulling it open and closed is what lead me to purchase these baby gates. It rolls up very nicely into its storage and it’s almost like you forget they are there because it’s not a big, bulky, normal baby gate. My toddler was never able to open or close them himself because his arms were never long enough to detach the gate from the hook, so that’s a plus. We only used them to prevent him from going up the stairs, and he was never one to clump over things, so if yours is the opposite they are not super sturdy and I feel like can be climbed over if your toddler is determined enough 😂. But they served the purpose of why we bought them and they look pretty nice as well.

Very attractive gate and simple to install. I would have given 5 stars, however it's not as easy to operate as stated. Definitely takes both hands and with some effort.

The locking mechanism can be a bit annoying but it works great for our larger entryway feom the living room to dining room. My son pushes and pulls on it a lot and it's still in perfect condition.

So we really liked this product when we first got it. It worked great and takes up less space then some of the other products in the marketplace. However, it is not durable. The plastic pieces on the other side of the door frame that the screen locks into are made of plastic which after 3 months the bottom piece snapped broken from the toddler tugging on the gate. Then a few days afterwards the top piece broke. I think that at least these parts should be made out of something more durable than plastic especially when they are asking for $121 approximately.

REally loving this. Lengthy so you don't have to worry so much it will not fit. The one thing I have to share though is that the lock itself is strong but it can get difficult or tedious to unlock and open or close when your hands aren't free. The netting is strong plastic but may breakdown eventually or get torn and I'm not sure it's easy to get a replacement for that.

I'm an engineer by trade, and comfortable with a set of tools and around the house. This product has one of the worst install experiences I've ever experienced.There is almost no tolerance built into the vertical alignment of the frame on the "gate side" of the installation. They clearly were aware of this as they provide a template to aid in installation. Which would be great, if the template was even CLOSE to remotely correct.Following their template I was unable to install the top latch of the gate. The bracket sat too low when installed as directed and did not engage with the gate enough to where a small amount of wiggling was able to dislodge it, rendering the whole gate useless. Even better, the template is not only incorrect, but incorrect just enough that it is not possible to drill new holes to correct the issue, as they are too close to the template guided holes. This has left me with gaping holes in the wall that even when filled with spackle, are not strong enough to safely support the gate. I'm likely going to have to remove an entire square of drywall to fix the issue.On top of that, the instruction manual is not well done. The mounting brackets are shown using the black hardware, with horrible contrast and angles selected, making it very difficult to determine the correct orientation of the hardware in different arrangements.Additionally if you do intend to attempt this harrowing installation, DO NOT USE the included wall anchors. The recommended drilled hole size is extremely tight. They are incredibly hard to install into the wall as a result, which is exacerbated by the fact that the anchors are abnormally long. Anchors from Harbor Freight performed significantly better, and that's an incredibly low bar.On top of the above nightmare of installation, the gate does not have a handle for easy operation. The previous model did and it makes operation of the gate infinitely easier. The "new and improved" arrangement makes grabbing the gate a pain in the butt as it is slightly rolled up into the spool mechanism on the gate side. It also makes grabbing the gate to remove it from the latch more challenging as well, as there is nothing to grab. The "handle" is engaged on the latch and leaves only the mesh gate as a grab point.I'm assuming it was removed to reduce the cost of production instead of actually improving the operation product, because logically I can't see how this arrangement is better than the older model.

Installs easy, looks great, withstands the weather easily.

Después de explorar muchísimas opciones me decidí por esta por que me pareció seguro y estético y la verdad no me decepcionó, de hecho planeo comprar otras 2 para otros espacios de la casa, aunque no es tan práctico para abrir y cerrar, pues debes presionar y girar al mismo tiempo un botón, la malla es muy resistente al igual que los paneles laterales, además se ve muy bonito

Excelente producto claro falta ver si el sistema de enrollado con el tiempo no falla pero por lo pronto en 2 días usándolo esta muy bienClaro que si buscas cubrir como yo un largo de más de 1.7 Mts es un poco difícil por el botón que tiene de seguridad para correr la mallaPero le doy un 9

It's a good quality retractable gate and fits 1.8 m entrance/openings. All fittings are top quality and instructions are comprehensive. They have taken care of fixing inside and outside doorway and also provided for the floor having skirting. I purchased for a door way that is about 0.9 m wide and fixed it in another opening that is 1.8 m.It works very well and serves the purpose. I was not sure of how it will fare with year old twins, but it serves well.Installation takes some work if you are not accustomed to drilling/DIY stuff.The skirting we had is granite, luckily I consulted a neighbour who advised against drilling in granite with home use drills. Installed it just above the 10-11 cm skirting.
