Item was received in good time. The item was as described even better. Material is strong and durable couldn't be more pleased my son loves it and can now start his recordings.

High quality microphone arm. I already had one for myself and just recently bought another one for my wife’s setup. I’d recommend it for anyone who has an external mic. It’s go to have the microphone close to your mouth for better sound quality. And this arm does that. Super durable, I’ve had mine for years and my wife loves her new one.

Very functional piece.I like that you can set this up on most working stations.I have this set up on a raising desk with wheels.Quality is decent if you're just starting out with a project.Im using it with a Shure mic connected to a Roland mini mixer.

My previous review was made in error. The 5/8" adapter comes with the MIC itself. No issues with this product.

My big problem with this product is that the shock mount does not fit my Blue Yeti mic. I accept at least partial responsibility for not doing enough research here, as this information isn't entirely hidden. It is mentioned in the description, and if I'd thoroughly read it then I would have seen that. However, I do think it's a bit misleading to have Blue Yeti be the first listed microphone in the product name when part of the kit does not fit that microphone. I purchased this in part because I assumed the Blue Yeti being specifically listed in the product name meant I would be getting both a pop filter and shock mount compatible with my microphone. Had I known that was not the case, I would have purchased another product or products that better fit my specific needs.Aside from that gripe, the quality seems alright for the price. Not incredibly solid, but enough for what it needs to do. The included cable ties and thread tape are a nice touch to make setup easier. I didn't experience the issue mentioned in the manual that would have made the thread tape necessary, but it was nice to know I had it just in case. Setting up the pop filter and boom arm was easy enough and they serve purpose. Without the shock mount I suspect that the boom arm setup will amplify vibration and bump noise compared to the yeti's small included stand until I find something other than the desk to mount it to, but I can also get the mic closer to the sounds I'm trying to record, which hopefully will amplify them more than any vibrational noise. The joint connecting the clamp to the boom arm has more give to it with the screw fully tightened than I'd like, as it makes the entire assembly feel a bit less secure than I'd like, but it doesn't seem to cause any stability issues and so far the arm has held steady when not in motion. I worry that over time swiveling that joint could lead to problems, and will update if it does. If that fear turns out to be unfounded, this product seems fine but largely unimpressive. It's cheap and so makes a good introductory set, but even then there might be better options for value, especially if you have a Blue Yeti microphone.

I really like this mic arm. It attaches to my office desk and adjusts to many positions.I would buy it again or give as a gift.

Boom Arm is perfect for most Mics. Unfortunately, I did not realize my new Yeti Orb is not compatible and requires a 1/4 threading which is not included in the box. The mount itself seems sturdy and came with some ties and tape to help with the organization of the cable management. The description says it is compatible with the older Yeti Snowball but I did not realize the threading is different for the Orb so this is my fault in the end. Still recommend this Boom Arm compared to buying Logitech's ridiculous edition for $100. All in all, I was able to test this with my older mic which did match the threading. Mount holds the mic in place very well. Full Range of motion and does lock in to place. This mount is perfect for most setups and the design is easy to work with. Will purchase from this company again.
