So, my car aircon started to give of an unpleasant odour. I refuse to pay £99 extra every service to have them do very little. I'm much more inclined to sort it when it's broken. Called the local dealerships, 6 weeks wait and £99. Well I've saved over £300 not having it done so far. Then I found out about this. It's pretty good. And for £9 what's not to like. The hieroglyphics that they believe are informative instructions are not great.So, shut all windows, set aircon to On put air direction to circulating, rather than taking air from outside. Start far put air flow on full cold, put the can upright ( I sat mine in the cup holder) firmly press the nozzle and leave the car. Shut door. Wait 10 minutes. Open car doors windows. Turn car off. Wait 10 minutes before getting in it. That's it.

Not the best scent but does the job
Really does the trick. Air con feels and smells clean now. Not the best scent to be fair but i suppose thats personal taste and i didnt want new car smell again. Just waiting for it to calm down a bit. It was a bit severe after the treatment!

Smells Nice
The smell is very nice and lingers for quite a while - could smell it even weeks later. Can’t comment on outdoor removal.

great scent
My car smelled faintly of a previous owner's wet dog - it wasn't fully cured by this treatment but definitely improved and the smell is really nice.To use, switch on the ignition, set the interior fan to max recirc, set the can down securely away from the windscreen, press the button (which locks open), shut the door and it discharges fully in 20 seconds or so. Leave it five minutes, or whatever it says on the can, and then switch off and vent the car. Job done.

Unusual scent, works eventually after a few trips
Having been standing for long periods car had developed unpleasant ammonia-type smell. Warmed car and put vents on internal recycle setting and fans on full. Initially placed on armrest between front seats but spray was too strong and started dripping from roof lining. Moved to transmission tunnel in front of rear seats which worked better. Took several journeys for smell to improve but now completely clear of both scent and bad smell.
