I chose this product for the quality and form of extraction of the oil. It comes in a dark bottle to protect the it from light exposure. I like the consistency of the castor oil. When I apply to my skin, it feels thick yet absorbs well and does not feel sticky to me. I will purchase this product exclusively. The price is right and the size allows for me to use generously. If my hair is growing , then I will consider this a plus. My reason for this purchase is to help my face retain collagen and for my body to be moisturized and hydrated. I purchased the smaller size initially, so I will simply refill that bottle sine it has a pump included. East to apply, just pour on palms and apply to skin :)

This was my first purchase of body oil, I made out of desperation to save my dry hair and skin from years of hair products, heat devices and years of ocean, daily. I had serious deliberations since I am not a fan of goopy, Non perfumed body oils plus memories of senior family members boasting about castor oil when I was little to either take orally or use to contain my wild hair, always a problem.I have purchased many hair kits over the years, to maintain curl, keep curl, avoid dry ends, maintain moisture but now, I am FREE of all that hassle! Now, I use good shampoo but always finish with a dab of this oil or the sweet almond oil from the same Co. and a warm towel to let these beautiful natural oils repair and maintain my natural hair texture. I also use it as a finishing oil to keep frizzies down. How do I know this product has helped my hair?? My hair has fallen out forever, in the shower, brush, on my bathroom floor, at guests houses, no matter what I try, vitamins, diet, ect. I am not kidding, all that has stopped - no breakage! For real! I use it now on my face, (a dab under glycolic acids, retina A, or any fruit acids) that can cause dry spots under eyes, chests or hands. I have added the sweet almond oil by the same Co. My skin has recovered, from years of outside sports - all my dry spots are happy now, elbows, knees, chest, neck, cuticles, nails, feet...I am amazed and extremely happy. Looks like my deceased sweet aunts and uncles who swore by these oils were right, took me forever, clogging drains, brushes my hair always everywhere, never fixed by diet only by this product.

This castor oil is really good! I have bought the Jamacan Black Castor Oil from this seller and loved it so I thought I'd give the regular CO a try and it too is awesome!Buy with confidence. This is a small family owned business who obviously cares about putting out a quality product.

Purchased in 2021, it’s 2025 and I still have half the bottle left. No rancid odor, still viable. Stored in a closet. I’ve used on all parts of my body inconsistently. This year, I seek to keep my bleached hair moisturized and minimize breakage by using castor oil in the ends especially. In the past, using it on the frontal scalp area helped to regrow hair that was thinning.

I love this Castor oil. I have ordered 16 oz. bottles before so was surprised that this 32 oz. is not in a glass bottle as well. That would not be my choice as I think it is best stored in glass. I had two previous bottles that were nearly empty so was able to transfer to those. The products are quality. I am very happy with everything I have ordered from 7 Minerals.

You never know what you're going to get online sometimes but this is very good oil. There doesn't seem to be a smell and the size you can't beat for the price.
