Mylar feel but very heavy duty. Impossible so you must use a knife or scissors.

The radiant barrier from Trade Winds works great.
I have a 10 x 10 office and a bedroom that was always cold by a degree or two, after installing the radiant barrier the room was warmer by a couple of degrees. The 24 inch rafter size was easy to install. I installed 2000 sg ft in a few hours, and just ordered another 200 sq ft. to finish the attic. Can’t wait to see how it performs in the California hot SUN. We get up to 110 in the summer around mid 30 to mid 40 in the winter.
