Easy to work with
Great packaging. All the sets I've ordered come perfectly protected. These scales are amazing to work with. Shape well and each finger set of sanding makes them polish up well. Best isca final buffing after 2000 grit wet sanding by hand.

Really poor quality. So disappointed. These broke when I was sanding them. I would never purchase these again.*I edited this post because the company sent a replacement at no charge and no questions asked.

Very rough finish, but product appears as described.
The product was as described, but came in a very rough finish. Took a very long time and lost too much material in order to get a fine finish. Since purchasing this product- I have invested in epoxy resin and made my own for about the same amount of money and much less work.

the ones I got quite dull and colorless
Color-wise, scales did not nearly match the vibrancy depicting in the product picture, the ones I got quite dull and colorless. The scales are extremely brittle, one scale broke in half/shattered when drilling small holes for rivets, the other broke just from being placed on a wooden counter. DO NOT BUY if you intend to work these scales for knife-making.

Brittle and a mess but looks great
First off, this was my first time working with this stuff. The finished product turned out pretty nice. The issue is, this stuff is extremely brittle and easily cracks. And it is a mess to work with. My garage will never be the same. Make sure you drill and sand slowly to prevent cracking. If I dropped this knife the scales would for sure break. Wouldn’t recommend for a knife with heavy use.

GREAT KNIFE HANDLE MATERIAL.
These knife scales worked out very well. Removing material with a belt sander was easy and fast.Acrylic produces a fine dust, so a shop vac or good ventilation would be suggested.

There is zero orange color in these scales I got ...
There is zero orange color in these scales I got. All others from here have been fairly true to color except these. Color is really off.
