Good option
These are far better than the plastic vents. Simple to install and will last unlike the plastic option I could only get a couples weeks from before they dissolved and crumbled into the gas can.

Works like a charm
Everything required for successful install right in the package! Just put a drop of oil on the rubber gasket before pushing it through the hole into the canister - will make it much easier.

I think they'll work fine
I bought the 12 pack so I would have plenty of replacement caps on hand should I need them in the future.Well, two (2) years on a shelf, in the sealed, UNOPENED packaging and the silver coating on the nuts has come off. The themselves don't seem to be corroded so I'm not concerned.The nuts should be stainless, but the manufacturer gets to make those choices.

These are great when your cans don’t have valves to release pressure. The rubber does break down when out in the weather often.
