They solved my problem
If insufficient mid/high range absorption is your issue, these should do the trick to solve the problem. At least they did for me. I have pretty much bare walls, and laminate flooring with no rug. I bought 2 sets (28 panels). I put 8 of these (2' wide x 4' high) along the wall right behind each speaker. I put 3 of these (1' wide x 3' high) along the wall beside each speaker because my speakers are way too close to the side walls (no choice). This resulted in a dramatic improvement in the sound quality of my music CDs. (FYI: I've got a set of Infinity Kappa 7 front speakers.) There was no advantage to adding any of the remaining 6 panels and, in fact, putting them in play seemed to degrade the sound a bit. It seems that it is possible to overdo it with these. Maybe I could have made due with only 14 panels, but I like the sound I'm getting with the 22 I'm using so I'm not complaining.

I also have more expensive stuff with cloth cover and wood board backing but I think this one absorbs the first reflection point
I added 6 pieces on the wall next to the speaker and immediately see the "echo" disappear. My speakers mounted on wall so this is a must. However, they don't come with the velco or anything to stick it on the wall. It took me a trip to local HD to buy the velco to stick them on the wall. I also have more expensive stuff with cloth cover and wood board backing but I think this one absorbs the first reflection point of the sound better as I tried to replace them with that fancier thing. But I then put these things back.Updated: subtracted one star as I have to purchase a heavy duty velcro to attach them to the wall. Regular velcro would not hold it no matter how much velcro you have.

Awesome!
I put these up in my studio room and the room was empty when I started, there was a bit of reverberance from the walls, after putting them up it was all gone, to mount them I took plastic coated construction paper and cut them to size, used 3m spray glue to attach them to the foam, then used command strips to attach them to the wall. Havent had a single one come lose, or fall off. They also look pretty nice on the walls since my room is just painted gray

Softens sound
Put some in a speaker box and other squares on the side of a Cargo couch to cancel unwanted sound reflex into the room - so far so good.
