For 24/7 parking mode, I got this Vantrue Hardwire Kit to install my dash cam, and it does the job just fine. The installation process was relatively easy; it depended on your knowledge of where to tap the fuse. The fuse taps with the kit made it very easy to connect without splicing. The best part? There is no more need for messy cables hanging down from my dash cam! It keeps everything clean and professional. In addition, there is low voltage protection, so I won't have to worry about it draining my car's battery when left on overnight. This kit is a must-buy if you are looking to hardwire your Vantrue dash cam. It is built to last, functions as it should, and makes using parking mode easy. I recommend it!

I have ordered the Vantrue S1 Pro Dual Dash Cam along with the Vantrue LTE Module and the Vantrue Dashcam Hardware Kit. Based on my product experience the Vantrue products proved to be of the highest quality and extreme user friendliness. The set up of the Camera was very easy and worked perfect. Unfortunately when i connected the LTE module along with the Hardware Kit it did not work as i was planning for when i purchased the products. My main purpose was for the LTE Module to be connected to my phone so that i can track my car on the go. Due to the country i am residing in, the SIM card was not compatible with the module. I contacted Vantrue’s Customer Care and they tried their absolute best to resolve my issue and after multiple failed attempts they offered me a full refund for the three items because they couldnt resolve the issue. Even though it was hard for me to ship the items from my country back to them, they still refunded my order back which i really appreciated because they tried their absolute best to resolve my issue with the products.

This kit allows you to hardwire the Vantrue dashcam to your car's battery which lets you take advantage of motion and vibration detection when the vehicle is not on. It's super easy to install and comes with every type of fuse jumper adapter you might need for your vehicle.

Works. Did have to get a 6' extension wire in order to reach to the back of a Honda Civic. Would imagine a larger car would require at least same if not more. Otherwise. works fine and hookup was fairly simple.

I read many reviews before I purchased this camera and it works great. It has been just under two years and it was time for a review. Sorry, I did not wait a little longer because the wireless one came out a few months later....what a bummer. If I could get a discount for mine I would do a trade-in right away. Oh well, that's life I guess, in any case, the only thing that sucks' in my opinion is the suction mount for the window. It did not last long at all and started falling off right away, I would say maybe in a few months. For the price of the camera, it could have been better quality. Many of you know the issues you must face with window mounts and the sun. It's only a matter of time before they don't work. In my opinion, companies should use EZ Pass velcro which lasts forever or some of you may heard about the Bully Dog gas tuner. Their window mount is out of this world and that device cost about the same price. Once you place it on the windshield you move the tension lever and bang tight as a knot. It never comes off unless you take it off yourself. I just got into the habit of covering my window with a sun visor and any suction cup on my window last longer. It becomes quite cumbersome to remove all my devices. Well, I hope this review helps you in your decision to buy a camera.

Very easy to install. It comes with various fuse-size wire adaptors where you just remove the fuse that's already occupied in the fuse panel and insert it into the open slot in the wire adaptor. The wire adaptor already has the correct value fuse installed for the dashcam. The control box has a switch for 12V setup or 24V setup needed to make sure that you're battery doesn't completely die if it ends up with a continuous power draw. The red wire connects to your always hot power, yellow is for only hot when its in the on or the accessory position, the black to any grounded portion of the car. For my case, I'm getting the "always hot" red wire from my power door locks slot, "accessory" from my power window slot, and the black grounded wire from a bolt nearby that goes straight onto the body of the car. My dash cam E360 works great with just a turn on/off from my ignition key. Very handy setup.

I used this in my wife's 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. It does the job and haven't had any issues with it over the last year. Please get this and avoid those OBD2 dash cam chargers. I had installed one from Apeman on another camera and when the camera fried, it blew a fuse that controlled the car. To avoid blowing a main fuse, just use the pigtail connectors to tap directly into the fuse box. A much simpler and easier way. The radio fuse is the easiest one on all cars.
