Keep flood water out
Used these to keep flood water out of our garage and back patio. Was nervous at first as they didn't seem to be expanding much given the size. But once they get enough water they plump up and do the job they were intended to do. These are pricey and are really for emergency cases. I am using a set as a longer term fix during the summer so I will update if they end up not being reusable as advertised.

Maybe this is a bad batch
The media could not be loaded. I bought this product when it first started raining in Los Angeles because my backyard always floods and I always need sandbags and then I found this product on Amazon and I laid it out and it prevented my house from flooding but I was a little short on how many I needed so I bought another Order of this product and this time the product failed the gel in the back , instead of absorbing the water, they actually started coming out of the back and leaving crystals all in the backyard, which made more of a mess with the water. It didn’t matter how many of them I put out the same thing happened over and over again I didn’t do anything different than the first batch so I’m just figuring that this batch must’ve been bad.

Excellent product
Excellent product If you want to stop water from getting into a space they do an excellent job. They are very happy to pick up one full and get very slimy but they do the job

Didn’t have to mess with sand! Worked perfectly for flooding basement!

Beats using multiple towels for seeping water into a home.
Have had problems with water leaking into our home. The Quick Dam provides a good first line of defence where the water is seeping in. Once the QD is at capacity though the water will continue to seep through, so best to swap out with new ones and dry the saturated ones.
