Entertaining story!
Now here's an example of a self-published book where you shouldn't judge it by its cover. Let's be honest, the cover looks like s***.Luckily, the concept of the book intrigued me.The story is never boring and in some parts, quite fascinating — something every sci-fi story should aim for. What I could've done without was the unnecessary love story, the slightly cliche third act, and a couple of paragraphs where we get too much description. E.g. "This character is wearing this. It is this color. Their eyes are blue." etc...But overall, it's very well-paced and well worth a read.

Great idea for a book
I am fascinated by the idea of past lives so really wanted to read this book. This was a different take on past lives, but it was a good one. Loved the characters and how they tied into each other. Where there were two chapters very similar it threw me for a little bit - until I read further and everything cleared up. Thanks for giving us such a great book. Hope there will be more to come.

Anxiously waiting for the sequel
A wonderful blend of great characters, twists and turns in the plot, actual history, and a whole lot of science fiction. I do hope there will be another Chronovisor book involving these characters!! Meanwhile, I hope there are many readers who will also enjoy this book.

Has this been proof read?
It may be a really good book but I am afraid I could not get into it at all. There were so many basic spelling errors and grammatical mistakes.I get the impression that the author wrote it and then published it without anyone else looking through it to find any problem areas.Very first page calls a steed (horse) a 'stead'. Mentions 'taking in deep lung fulls of rich air' instead of 'lungfuls'.Insists on using 'comprising of' (of is NEVER used with comprising as the word itself means 'consisting of')Example of a paragraph which turned me off:On this occasion, Steven had had to quell a feeling of rising panic. He had taken the straight tarmac path that ran up the middle of the site. He had stopped to view on piece of sculpture more closely. Out of the corner of his eye, he had seen the man strolling in the same direction. The man had stopped to look at a statue of himself, and he had seemed to be keeping his distance. Setting off at a greater pace, Steven had barely drawn breath. The sharp tap of the hastened footsteps had followed him.How many uses of the word HAD were there in that paragraph. She only needed to use it once as she could easily have left out most of them and changed the other verb. This would make the text flow. Instead it is hard and makes it look like a child has written it.Sorry, but not for me.

Please find an editor!
I could not get past the many misspellings. If you are going to charge money for a book and want an honest review of the content; the spelling and grammar should not get in the way.

Could be worse, could be better
As self-published books go, I have read (or started reading) many that had less going for them than this sci-fi exploration of time travel and alternate realities. It had some fresh ideas and clearly was based on some research. But... there were a number of annoying aspects of the book. The romance seemed contrived and the characters' behavior was erratic. The dialogue didn't feel real to me. The major action/suspense part was based on the characters saying "we have no choice" when they clearly could have handled it quite differently without all the drama, which had me wondering if the author was writing with a view towards a movie version. Despite the claimed revision to improve spelling and grammar, there were still many errors, such as "waived" where "waved" was meant, and frequent difficulties with incorrect prepositions. I hope the author will keep writing, but will seek out an editor's assistance in the future. (Oh, a final note: I was disappointed to find a female writer using the oh-so-overdone scene of a woman with a gun on the bad guy, who is then taunted about her inability to pull the trigger and overpowered. Ugh.)

Chronovisor
An up-to-date twist on the old Sci-Fi theme of time travel. If we go back in time will we change things and how will we know? The story rattles along at a fast pace, with deft plotting and an amusing awareness of IT marketing ethos.Don't start this book late at night if you have to get up early. You just cannot put it down!

Well thought out time travel romp!
A very modern time travel story. Set now(ish) it follows the fortunes of employees and customers of Continuum, a company that markets the opportunity to go body hop with an ancestor of yours. This is very well written, with a highly narrative style that draws you in and sets the scene. It has a measured pace at the beginning, bringing the key characters to life. The pace could put you off at first, but please don’t let it. It may build slowly, but once it gets going it doesn’t let up. With time travel stories you always run the risk of being confused and questioning the integrity of the plot. Not so here. All in all a well written, entertaining story. Recommended.

A fantastic story, beautifully written
From the moment I started reading this book I could not put it down, the opening prologue is beautifully written and the detail pulls you in and you feel like you are there, experiencing it.The characters in the story are so believable that you feel like you know them, you probably know people just like them. I found myself warming to all the characters especially Jason, who makes a very geeky hero :) The whole idea of past life experiences and the impact that has on the present was truly gripping and ingeniously handled by the author. In short this is a fantastic read and transports you to a different world. Let's hope I make it back ok :)

When do I get to read the next one!?
Clearly lots of thought has gone into getting the little details right in this book, especially on the subject of the unique version of time travel. But that certainly doesn't cause the book to become boring; it's quite the opposite. You wouldn't believe from the quality of writing that this is the author's first novel. To top it off, the protagonist rides a BMW motorcycle. Definitely my kind of book!

Addictive reading
Really enjoyed this book. Excellent story that kept me hooked and had me going to bed early for a whole week just to have a sneaky read. If you are a fan of sci fi you won't be disappointed. Hoping Ms Allen writes another in the not too distant future.

engaging read
Wasn't sure what to expect from a debut novel but I really enjoyed it.It was a very engaging read which kept me wanting to read, "just one more chapter". The characters were believable and the plot wizzed along at a good pace and the language was intelligent and thoughtful.I am really looking forward to Book two, and anything else Justine Allen has to write.

What a great read!
I've read this book cover to cover three times already. Well OK, I kind of had to, I'm married to the author, but it's still a damn good book.
