One of the best
The cooling on this cooler is amazing. Not only does it keep my 7 3700X under 50°C while on a 75% load, but the unit can be taken apart to be cleaned or even expanded. Not many pre-built water coolers can say that. It is a bit loud, but it's worth it.

One of my favorite AIO’s on the market
Works as intended and keeps my i7-8700K @ 4.3GHz anywhere from 35-50 C for what I use it for. My only complaint is that out of the box, the plastic ring that holds the 2 cables coming off the pump was not attached on one side. That being said, it’s only a cosmetic thing and is barely visible once installed in the computer. The RGB’s on the fans are a fantastic touch and added a complete look to my build.

Their Warranty, QA, and RMA system is garbage.
This unit was working great for roughly about two years, then without warning the pump gave out, and a similar situation happened with one of my friends computers with the same cooler. Went and contacted Alphacool regarding a RMA request, Alphacool said that the reseller is responsible for the RMA not them. After that I've contacted the reseller on Amazon and they said it was Alphacool that I need to contact, you can probably guess where this is going... but I've forward this back to Alphacool anyways, only to get this response."Hi (insert name here),all RMA complaints in foreign countries are handled by the reseller from which you purchased the product. Please note that their conditions and requirements are crucial and are depending on your local law.Have a nice day.Bitte beachten Sie dass wir uns 10 Tage an unsere Angebote gebunden fühlen. Please note that we shall remain bound by our offer for 10 daysMit freundlichen Grüßen / Best RegardT(blank)Service & Support"In short, do not bother with Alphacool, save yourself the time of dealing with a company that doesn't cover their own products unless you live in Germany, which is ironic because many companies do support their products in different countries, this is the first time in the industry I've heard of such, and their warranty states nothing of the sort, so either I'm being lied too, and or Alphacool doesn't want to cover their own mistakes they made with this cooler and its pump design.I don't blame the reseller here, this is all Alphacools fault, if they cannot support their products then why bother even shipping it out of their own country to a reseller here in the States, or even including a warranty to begin with. Now I have a big paperweight that I need to scrap because that's all it is worth. This item should have been recalled, as for everyone else out there that is deciding to purchase this piece of crap? Don't, if you did, return it, get like a AIO for a while and save a few bucks and peace of mind.

Great cooler for 5900X
Glad I took a chance on this company. Keeps my 5900X ice cold.

Item has good quality, but mine was defective
I had rated this as 1 star, but it was due to miscommunication, I just wanted to correct it to 3 stars because i still didnt get my money back after the full dispute betweenb us but they were nice enough to understand the miscommunication.the product was defective, however was made from good quality. I believe it was a rare chance that it was defective.Nonetheless the overall experience was mildly frustrating but it was resolved.

The fans are this cooler's folly.
Like, what do you expect from using round fan frames on a radiator? I replaced them with some NF-F12s, and performance has improved. The user being able to service and refill this unit is pretty darn neat. The option to expand it, not so much: the pumps on hybrid coolers like this really aren't strong enough for doing such a thing.

fans make noise - 6 month support policy through reseller only
The media could not be loaded. This cooler has worked great for 8 months, but recently I noticed the fans are making noise when they spin up past 50%. It sounds like a hard drive clicking. I went to Alphacools website and started the RMA process. After noticing the company replying to other RMAs before mine, I checked the RMA policy verbiage again and saw that support or RMA is only through the company you purchased from. Well I'm a couple months past Amazons return policy window so I'm screwed. Now I have an awesome looking cooler that functions great, but makes noise every time it spins up. I will never buy from Alphacool again just based on this return/exchange policy. I feel like I wasted my money on a premium product with a very short support window. The only positive is these are some of the best looking fans around.
