Chalk Paint Brushes for wax and paint - Round Paint Brush for Furniture.

I have never used a round brush before, so I don't have anything for comparison, but I think this brush is great! I decided to repaint some furniture with chalk paint and bought this brush for that use. I gave this thing a workout, and shedding was very, very minimal (like, 4-5 hairs), and the coverage was really good. It has a nice, solid wood handle (downside is that the handle made my hand sore after a few hours of painting). This thing does holds A LOT of paint, and it is not much fun to try to wash it all out. Unfortunately, I also decided to put the brush full of paint in a ziplock bag for a couple of hours in between coats, and that didn't improve the situation. Some of the paint now refuses to budge. This is hardly the fault of the brush, however, and I can blame my own laziness for that. After that, I just dipped the tip in the paint, and clean up with soap and water was easy peasy. The cord is a really nice addition for easy hanging to dry. I would buy this brush again.

Its a good brush with a full head of bristles (not hollow like some other brushes) however my wife's only complaint is that the metal band rubbs against her hand when she paints and it is painful. She said if she keeps using it, it will rub a blister. It also looses bristles like any other brush but not excessively.Update 5/13/16My wife is painting again and she says the bristles arevnot falling out nearly as much, she also wears a bandaid over her finger where the metal rubs her finger. Overall she is pleased with the brush, I should note this brush is better quality than the brush we purchased locally for twice as much with the paint.

I am an oil painter and have no idea what this brush is actually supposed to be used for, however I can say this is the perfect brush for large scale paintings. I was able to cover a 5'x5' canvas in paint in about 10 minutes, a process that typically would have taken me at least 30 or 45 with the smaller brushes I already had. The cloud making capacity for this and blending large areas... can't get better than this, especially for the price!

I purchased this brush after reading some of the reviews. I am always a little skeptical when many of the reviews are from people who received a product for free to test it. But, I found it exactly as described. The bristles appears to be good quality and the brush is well made. I am working on a project currently and will add to this review following the completion if there are any applicable details.

I painted a little dresser for my daughter using chalk paint. The end product looks great, but unfortunately I had to keep carefully picking out bristles from the dresser as I painted. I picked out about 6 or 7 bristles. I have two more dressers to paint and am not looking forward to having to go through the pain of pulling out bristles again as I paint.

I was worried about using a round brush but was not having good success with a flat brush with chalk paint. This brush is great! The coverage is much better and there are no streak marks and not loss of bristles. This is an excellent brush, so glad I found it on amazon instead of speaking double at the local store. Would definitely purchase again.

Item arrived on time and just as described. It's the first wax brush I've had so I can't compare it but it worked great on a table I painted and waxed. I only lost one hair on the entire project. It's a nice soft brush and I recommend it! It's a great price for a very good product.

I love how sturdy it is! You can be down right mean to this brush and it can take it all day long. I have waxed two pieces with this brush and it was perfect for each job. Doesn't shed at all! Only lost one bristle during both projects, yes I kept track yes I counted. I like the length of the bristles, they aren't overly long and are pretty stiff which I think adds to its durability. I would recommend this brush over and over again and would definitely repurchase.
