Comfy and easy
I’ve purchased a handful of air mattresses including the “never flat” one and they’ve all failed me. I took my “never flat” one camping and the rocks below punctured holes through the tarp and the tent and into the mattress. Even the regular air mattresses have leaked air over time with use. I’ve given up on air mattresses and found this.It self inflates. (You just have to blow a little air into the pillows)It’s compact. It’s not too heavy. (I’m not sure I’d hike it on my back all day but I can carry it into the car or bedroom, etc)I can pull it out at home for my child to nap/lay on in the living room on the hardwood floor.I can layer a bed where the mattress is hard as a rock. ( see pictured). I posted the picture for reference so you know how big the camping mat is compared to a full sized bed. (Don’t mind the heart looking stain. My toddler dropped food on it and I had to wipe it up.)I’ve yet to take it camping but I’ve used it to lay on the hardwood floors in my house and it’s definitely comfortable. I purchased a second one as well. They have buttons on the side to connect multiple mats if needed. My toddler likes to sleep on the floor, especially in the summer, so this is perfect for us. One for the house and one for the grandparents house.I’m not a big pillow person so I can’t comment on how comfortable that is.I’ve yet to pack it back up so I don’t know the ease of it. Seems easy though.I had trouble inflating the bed at first. You just have to loosen the two black knobs, allow it to inflate, and then tighten them back up before laying on it.

Great for me, not my husband.
I wanted to really love this camping pad, and for *me* it was pretty good. We went camping for 2 nights and I slept great. I woke up and wasn’t sore at all! Which is usually not the case when we use an air mattress for camping. However, my husband didn’t like it because he didn’t think there was enough padding. He wants to go back to the air mattress.- Pros:1) Great thickness/padding for me, and comfortable.2) I like there are blow up pillows integrated as a separate part of the rest of the mattress3) Self-inflating means I don’t need bring a pump! Just twist the 2 nozzles at the bottom to inflate.Cons:1) Not enough padding for someone heavier (~200 lbs)2) The bag is pretty weak and will tear if you force it.3) NO INSTRUCTIONS on how to roll it back up. After some trial and error/ and my husband ripping the bag totally open (I had to sew it back up and re-think how to fold it back at home), I learned you should lay it out flat, fold it length wise into itself with the *open ends going up the middle* and use the snaps to shut on itself (so the seam where the snaps are, go lengthwise up the middle), then roll it from the pillow area down to the nozzles, squishing the air out, and then tighten the nozzles to finish.4) When all rolled up, this full size mattress pad is way bigger than our previous air mattress, (of course then you don’t have to bring a pump) but it still takes up more room.

Pillow leaking already upon second use and difficult to deflate/repack.
Biggest Gripe: One pillow is already leaking upon just the second use. It deflates entirely within minutes.Pros: Inflation is easy and pad is quite comfortable. Nice to not feel another’s movements beside you because of the slim profile while also being plenty firm to not feel the ground beneath you.Cons: Difficult to deflate and repack. Managed to do so solo the first time but is much easier as a 2 person job. And I’m very unsure of this pad’s durability over time because one pillow already doesn’t hold air upon just the second use.

Great self-inflating pad for 2-3 people
Took this camping last weekend and it did a great job for 2 of my teens (might have been able to fit a third in a pinch). This is a self-inflating mattress, so it has an internal structure that expands and draws in air when you open the valves at the end. This extra internal structure adds some weight, so it's not a great backpacking pad for the ultra-light campers out there, but it's definitely a comfortable solution for car camping! Some other tips:- Unroll and let it air out when you get it. Ours smelled like chemicals at first, but that smell went away after leaving it out a day or so.- When rolling it back up, do it just like you would any other self-inflating air mattress:1. open the valves2. gradually roll the mattress from the non-valve end to the valve end so that you're squeezing the air out as you go along3. then when you get to the end, close the valves. If you want to get it packed down even smaller:4. unroll it after this and re-roll it (you'll squeeze any left-over air toward the end that you might have missed the first time)5. eventually you'll have a balloon and you'll need to open the valves to release the air pressure, but by this time you'll have rolled it much tighter6. finish rolling it, close the valves again, and you're good to go. It was pretty easy to get it down to the original packed size doing this.

Buyer Beware
What a disappointment!! We ordered this sleeping pad several days before our camping trip, and then experienced a bit of a shipping delay. On arrival, we opened it up for a test run, and within hours the mattress began to separate and form a large bubble.I contacted the seller immediately, and was promised a replacemet. With our camping trip only days away, they assured me it would arrive on time.Camping day came and we still didn't have a replacement. I waited a bit longer... nothing. No response from the company, either, and now I've missed my return window, too.To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Unfortunately I'm now out a decent chunk of money AND I need a new camping sleep solution.
