Bought this as a cheap option so that I don't have to use the potato quality camera built in to my HP work laptop. For the price (~£15), I can't believe how well it works. The image is crystal clear, and although it doesn't have any tricks or gimmicks, it does exactly what you need it to do for about half the price of some of the other "cheap" options on Amazon. It's truly plug and play - stick the USB in, and that's it. No software, no messing around.The only thing I don't particularly like about it is it doesn't have a shutter to cover the camera, but I had a spare stick on one which works perfectly, and there's a green LED on the front that lets you know when the camera is active anyway.

I have a Logitech C920 as my main and bought this as need a cheap other one for broadcasting a second video feed. It is really good quality and the positive reviews are justified. Easy to setup and windows 10 recognised it no problems. Picture quality is excellent but falls short of my C920 hence only 4 stars for the quality. Auto focus also falls short slightly but not terrible. Considering the price difference bewtween the two i can't complain. It is well built. not tried the mic on it as use other audio sources so can't comment on that. All in all am very happy with this product and it will do what you want it to if you are on a budget.

Good quality camera. I use my to show my keyboard when using OBS software. Very easy to set up. Just plug it in and away you go. Looks nice and smart. It struck me that it might make a nice gift. Fits on top of the monitor easily. Great on zoom.

I use a cheap laptop for social Zoom sessions and the picture quality was awful. Rather than spend hundreds of pounds on a more expensive laptop I thought I'd give this a try. It has improved the picture quality dramatically. Your mileage may vary, if you already have a top of the range laptop you might not notice any difference.One small gripe - it doesn't clip on to the top of the laptop screen, it just balances there. It works but is a bit precarious.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This webcam is a simple plug and play set-up. It is cheap and cheerful. Paid only £16.99 so it was an absolute bargain price. It literally took us two minutes to install it to my in-laws PC so they join the Zoom community. Not sure the will be able to navigate the remote communication pitfalls like not unmuting the microphone etc. We did a quick trial call with family and the the picture quality was reported to be very clear and the sound from the inbuilt microphone picked up sound and speech quality very clearly. For normal communication it is perfectly fine without the need of a separate microphone.

I bought this camera as I wanted to use the large monitor to look at my video calls instead of the laptop camera. Perfect for this purpose and works great for the price. However my laptop accidentally switched to the inbuilt mic and was told that the quality of sound was terrible. I wouldn't use it for this anyway so it doesn't matter. I have a headset and the laptop has an inbuilt mic if I want to go without the headset. There is no privacy cover either but easy to tell if it is on.

I bought this camera on a basis of for the small price there's nothing I could lose. After reading the reviews I was drawn in and made the purchase. Having used the webcam for the first time after arrival it recognised it straight away with no additional software needed. Using Zoom and Microsoft teams regularly, going from the 720p camera built in into the laptop to this there was a huge difference. Sharper picture and the mic picked up sound very clearly too. The cable has a decent length, enough for me to even place on top of my TV and use it as my second screen. Would recommend in a instant
