This olive oil is the best I have ever tasted and just now found it here on sale by Amazon!!!It does not have the "burn" that many people like (not I!), but it has the deep, rich almost nutty flavor that reminds me of the earth it comes from!I pour it over roasted, blanched almonds with a sprinkle of coarse sea salt and everyone wants to lick the bowl when it is empty.It has a beguiling olive oil flavor,but it does not overwhelm the palate. It is great over soft goat cheese with garlic and wild thyme and of course on salad.I know people who cook with it but I think that may be a waste since it is pricey and I want to taste that amazingly rich and fragrant sort of sweet but balanced olive flavor.If you like flavorful olive oils, this one is for you!
