I purchased the set,; book and journal for a friend who was scheduled to undergo a double mastectomy. I actually read most of the book prior to delivering them to my friend, lol. Very informative and well written. Valeda takes the time to break down many of the medical terminology that may go over someone’s head if facing such a diagnosis of breast cancer while sharing her own personal experience. The journal is a beautiful accompanying bonus for you to write your own notes. I highly recommend the book and journal.

When reading the book, this journal is a tool for you to rewrite your story, gather your thoughts your disappointments, your fears, your wins,collect notes, write down questions you may have for your physicians etc. It is a must have with your My Strength Is Your Strength paperback.
