Good fit as advertised. Good airflow & seems to be good quality. Hopefully I'll never test the protection it provides.

I'M WALKING TODAY BECAUSE OF THIS ARMOR!!Edit update: I went down.. hard. Took a hard hit to the back and head. Back armor took all of it, and saved my bacon. A little sore, but jacket was mangled, and helmet was rendered unusable/write-off. I hit a patch of gravel at 40ish mph in a chicane and was high sided into a curb. My spine taking the hardest hit. I walked away from the crash with a fractured rib, a headache, some minor road rash, and sore joints... but freaking WALKING!!!! . I highly recommend this armor!!!! Though, I also highly recommend not riding like an noobish idiot. Lesson learned.An excellent upgrade for my AlpineStars T-GP Plus R Air Jacket. It's much more rigid, but still moves as much air as the stock cheap foam back pad. This upgrade is also slightly smaller than the stock foam (by one or two cm) but still fits excellent. Highly recommend this if you value your spinal chord.Notes: The white part is a harder plastic, and the black part is a rubbery foam. It covers 90% of my spine, with more coverage near the base of my neck. The small of you back will still be exposed, so you may need armored shorts to make up the gap.

I think this item is pricey for what it is but it molds to my back very quickly after putting my jacket on and offers level 2 protection which is nice piece of mind. I thought that with the hard TPU shell on the outside it might be uncomfortable or not conform to my back but that is not an issue at all. Despite the price I would purchase this again.For reference, I used this size large protector in a size large Alpinestars Solano jacket and it fit perfectly

Truly, a very high quality piece of lightweight armor!

Love the new KR-1 - bought size Large for my A-Stars Amok Drystar jacket (XL) - the pad is definitely thicker then the one that cam with it - very nice rubber-foam style material with a hard plastic plate - would not want it any other way - the pad feels good in the jacket - raining today so no rides....when you go down, you will want to feel that plastic slide across the pavement before your skin does - lets keep it shiny side up & rubber side down when at all possible. Stay safe out there!

Very comfortable to wear. Gives that extra protection to my mesh jacket and confidence when riding my motorcycle. The hybrid hard shell is a plus over the normal soft padded back protectors I have used in the past. Doesn't appear to add any noticeable weight or restrict movement or air flow.

This might just be personal preference and my jacket but this made my jacket way bulkier and a lot stiffer primarily in my shoulders which I didn’t expect at all.

Lightweight and moldable to my body

Lo traigo montado en una chamarra Andes v3 de la misma marca, se siente la diferencia, ya que las protecciones de la chamarra son nivel 1 y está nivel dos, deja pasar el aire aunque si lo comparamos con no traerla, bueno no es igual... Pero que importa llegar un poco sudado al destino si, vas bien protegidoExcelente calidad

Il paraschiena è leggero, flessibile e allo stesso tempo rigido garantendo un' ottima protezione in caso di caduta. Quando si è in moto aderisce perfettamente e sembra di non indossarlo. Compatibile solo con giacca Alpinestars o una tuta intera che permette di non farlo spostare.

Habe mir den Rückenprotektor gekauft und ihn in meiner AlpineStars Motorradjacke eingesetzt.Er ist sehr angenehm und stört absolut nicht beim Fahren. Man hat sofort ein Gefühl von Sicherheit.Der Rückenprotektor ist sehr Hochwertig und erfüllt hohe Standards.Kaufempfehlung!!

Excellent on se sent en « sécurité »

Fits size 44/54 jacket perfect. Forget I'm wearing it after no time.. Does become much more comfortable once it has had time to warm up a little and become more malleable. Only tried during warmer weather so can't comment on winter months atm.
