I really needed these clips to work. I had a lot of balloons to blow up for a birthday party. I’ve used these type clips in the past with ease. However, these clips were impossible to close. Using all my strength and even trying to tap them lightly with a mallet, they simply were not lined up to close. I had to return them and struggle with tying a knot in each balloon—ouch! We did not wind up having as many balloons at the party due to the clips not working.

It took two of us to use the clips, the first ballon I simply clipped it on the ballon stem. In no time the ballon lost most of its air. After that we twisted the ballon stem and while one person held the stretched stem the other person clipped on the plastic clips. About 1 out of 7 clips were very hard to lock so they were just discarded. If we were going to have lots of ballons they would be better that tying. Just doing 5 or 10 just tie the stem.

This item WAS NOT easy to use. Most of the clips would not even close. They were bent to one side or the other and the catch that was supposed to keep it closed appeared to be cut wrong. Terrible value firnthe money.....dont buy these.

These are awful. Plastic is so thin that as soon as you try to snap the open ends together, the curled side bends. You have to bend out that side before even attempting to close it and then it doesn't actually snap closed. Product is awful. I bought some from a store that were $2 cheaper for 144 and didn't have any issues at all.

Every other clip that I grab would not remain closed. It ended up being easier for me to tie the balloons off over searching for a good clip

Wow guess I was the only one who got a good batch....ordered these for my job and they worked great....

These are trash! They don’t close on the ribbon at all. You have to use a pair of scissors to pry the base open enough that the top will seat. Don’t waste your money. Threw half of them in the trash.

I should have read the reviews. I need these clips for work. Our vendor is out. Where to start........ The plastic is thin. There's pieces of uncut leftover plastic on them (you have to cut or break it off to use them). About 1 in every 4 are broken beyond use. The majority of them won't close because they're over curved making them to big on the end.
